The newest installment of Brooks’ hardbound anthology series – which he refers to as “liner notes on steroids” – captures the musician’s uncertainty before embarking on his first tour in over a decade, which ultimately sold more than 6.2 million tickets across 391 shows. The book includes six CDs containing 66 songs, including remastered classic tracks and assorted live recordings, as well as 150 never-before-seen photos. Brooks will accompany the release with a series of weekly discussions with his collaborators, culminating in a conversation with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, on The Anthology Part V’s release day of April 4. The conversations will all be simulcast on Amazon Live and GarthBrooks.com. (Billboard)
