Rising country star Drew Baldridge specifically chose November 4, Election Day Eve, as the radio add date for his uplifting new single, “Tough People.” The song – a follow-up to Baldrige’s first Top 5 single “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” – celebrates resilience and perseverance even in the face of disasters and tragedy, which reflects what so many people in the country are experiencing. “What I love about this song is that it’s honest and it’s real,” Baldridge says. “It’s what our world’s going through. It’s what we’re all feeling.” Baldridge wrote the song with indie artist Adam Sanders and songwriter Jordan Walker, which captures people going through tough times but rebuilding their lives and rising above their misfortune. “Don’t give up. don’t stop loving people, don’t stop helping people out,” Baldrige says. “What you’re going through, you’re gonna come out better because of it. I think that’s the message that we want to share.” (Billboard)
