In a new interview with People, Chase Rice reflects on his desire to take a step forward in his music career. In early March, the 39-year-old country star surprise released a three-song EP, Live From Chief’s, which includes standout covers of Eric Church’s “Carolina” and George Strait’s “I Can Still Make Cheyenne,” along with the previously unreleased “Cowboy Goodbye.” “Lately, I’m really big on real stories to me or well-written stories that are probably true for somebody else,” says Rice of his new song. “This is obviously me going down that road. So how do we get people to really believe what I’m doing? And the short answer for me is just keep doing it.” (People)
