On Friday (April 18), Maren Morris released her latest single, “Bed No Breakfast,” from her upcoming album Dreamsicle, which is due out May 9 via Columbia Records. The new song is also accompanied by a music video, joining the previously released single, “Carry Me Through.” “Bed No Breakfast” was co-written by Morris alongside Delacey, John Ryan, Jordan K. Johnson, and Stefan Johnson, and the track was produced by John Ryan and The Monsters & Strangerz. “’Bed No Breakfast’ is my cheeky little song about wanting personal space after… personal closeness,” Morris said in a statement. “It’s about a right to your own comforts on your own terms even while having some good-natured fun with somebody. Drunk girls don’t cry… they kick you out.” Morris recently performed at Coachella with Zedd, and joined Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a rendition of “My Church,” where she was backed by a gospel choir, in addition to headlining a White Claw event in Palm Springs.
