While the country superstar was performing, he saw a woman in the crowd holding up a sign that read, “I beat cancer to hug Keith Urban.” Upon spotting the sign, Urban promptly left the stage to embrace the fan, while engaging in a heartfelt conversation with her during a pause in the concert. The tender moment was captured in an Instagram video posted by WSM Radio, and it took place during the Band as One Nashville Concert for the Cure: Trisha Yearwood & Friends benefit show for Susan G. Komen’s breast cancer research efforts, with several cancer survivors in attendance. The event also included Lainey Wilson, Lauren Alaina, Kristin Chenoweth, Terri Clark, Anita Cochran, Sheryl Crow, and Amy Grant, and raised over $700,000 for cancer research. (Taste of Country)
