Super Bowl 59 goes down on Sunday featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.  And the last time they met, in Super Bowl 57, Chris Stapleton made alot of people in the  stadium CRY.  But if any national anthem performance was worth crying over, it was this one. Even Travis Kelce cried watching it, too.  Luke Combs said it was an incredible performance, “I was sitting in a box with Adele, and he sang that thing, and she was watching and like two lines in, she goes ‘Holy [crap].’  She’s just like losing her mind dude.  It was unbelievable… he’s unbelievable.”

Kenny Chesney is releasing his first book later this year, called “Heart Life Music”.  He says it’s “far better” than just a memoir. He called it a “love letter” to his fans . . . the people who’ve “shaped and inspired” him . . . the folks at “radio stations who believed when nobody else did” . . . and “all the friends who’ve been there along the way. To me, that’s where the music came from, and this is the story of how it turned into the soundtrack for the way No Shoes Nation lives their lives.” The book cover has him on a beach . . . with no shoes, of course.  It’s available for pre-order.  It comes out November 4th.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s now been a year since we lost Toby Keith.  The anniversary of his death was Wednesday. Toby’s son Stelen paid tribute to him on Instagram.  He shared an old video of Toby playing guitar with his family around a fire, singing “If I Was Jesus”, off his 2003 album, “Shock’n Y’all”. He captioned it:  “A whole year without my hero.  Here’s to one day having more of these nights.  Love you dad.”

Just so you know, you’re never supposed to call Matthew McConaughey “Matt”.

In the new “Smurfs” movie, Rihanna stars as Smurfette.
