The most-searched Halloween decoration is the 12-foot skeleton. It’s followed by a black Halloween tree and a ghost.
Jelly Roll’s new album is officially here, and it’s dominating the airwaves. And he surprised us all, by releasing a deluxe version called, “Beautifully Broken (Picking Up the Pieces)”, that has six bonus tracks, in addition to the 22 on the main album. All six of these bonus tracks are collaborations, too. It features songs with Halsey . . . Keith Urban . . . Ernest . . . Russ . . . Skylar Grey . . . and his song with MGK, “Lonely Road”, made it on there as well. And, it was just announced that Jelly is getting his own bar on Broadway in Nashville, that’s called Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville. But a new album and a new bar aren’t even the biggest news in Jelly’s life right now. The most consequential news of all, is that he has lost 100 pounds. And he’s still going strong. Jelly said, “My band has watched me fight cocaine addiction, they’ve watched me figure my life out slowly. And they knew the last mountain for me was food. So we started putting a real structure around it. I hired a real nutritionist . . . I’m only eating his food.” “What I’ve learned is, as I’m losing the weight . . . by nature I wanna go walk and do more stuff. Because I’m lighter, I feel better.”
Here is the best new music we could find that was just released recently:
1. “Winning Streak” by Jelly Roll.
2. “Don’t Want To” by Jelly Roll featuring Keith Urban.
3. “Backseat Driver” by Kane Brown.
4. “People Like Us” by Tim McGraw.
5. “How Do You Sleep at Night” by Cody Johnson.
6. “Time’s Ticking” by Justin Moore featuring Dierks Bentley.
7. “5 to 9” by Walker Hayes.
8. “Wide Open Heart” by Dwight Yoakam.
10. “If I Die Before You” by Chris Lane.
11. “That’s the Way Mama Made It” by Oak Ridge Boys.
12. “Gonna Be You (Nashville)” by Dolly Parton, Maddie & Tae, and Jessie James Decker.
The tickets for Luke Combs and Eric Church’s benefit show “Concert for Carolina” went on sale last Thursday and sold out in less than seven hours. Plus, the stadium announced that they’re doing a unique configuration, where the stage will be at the 50-yard line and none of the seats will be blocked out. That means they sold around 75,000 tickets. And with all of the proceeds benefitting the victims of Hurricane Helene, that is fantastic news! Some fans experienced issues when buying tickets, because Ticketmaster used their “dynamic pricing” model . . . which meant that prices were changing by the second, so you could put tickets in your cart, but by the time you checked out they were much higher. Some folks were mad about that which led the management teams of Eric and Luke to release a statement. “As a matter of process, dynamic pricing was implemented. It’s important to remember that this allowed us to maximize the charitable contributions to this important cause. We are thrilled with the response and the heart of our music community to help those who need our support.” Some people even reported paying upwards of $1,600 per ticket. That is awesome news for the people in North Carolina that were devastated by Hurricane Helene. The show takes place on Saturday, October 26th. It will also feature performances from James Taylor . . . Keith Urban . . . Bailey Zimmerman . . . and Sheryl Crow.
Brantley Gilbert fans in Tupelo, Mississippi got to be part of a VERY special moment Friday night. He had to run offstage in the middle of his concert when his wife Amber went into LABOR on his TOUR BUS. He posted a video where he stops the show for some sort of emergency. Then it cuts to him calling his mom to tell her she’s got a new GRANDSON. His name is Abram Howell Gilbert. Once his son was born and he knew everything was okay . . . he went back out and FINISHED HIS SET. Brantley was gone about an hour. Then he walked back on stage and announced, “We got a baby, Mississippi.” The crowd went nuts. He joked that all the moms in the crowd were probably thinking, “What the [heck] is wrong with this dude?” But he felt like he couldn’t abandon all the fans who’ve supported him for so many years. He said Amber told him to go back out and finish. They have three kids now, so she said he “better go get [his butt] to work.
