The most googled horror movie location is the Timberline Lodge in Oregon, where “The Shining” was shot. It’s followed by the New Jersey camp from “Friday the 13th” and the house from “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre”
Jelly Roll has an amazing work ethic. He said he wants to sing for people forever. Do you know how many songs he wrote for his new album, “Beautifully Broken”, which comes out Friday. He said, “There’s a lot of storytelling on this album. I wrote a probably 100 and some songs last year, maybe 150 plus, trying to figure this album out.” “I’ve never been so inspired, though. I was getting so many stories . . . I’m at gas stations and red carpets and I’m hearing life stories from people, really inspiring stories.”
Carrie Underwood is paid $1 million bucks every time the theme song from NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” plays. That was for the entirety of the 2023 season. Carrie took over from Faith Hill in 2013. So, with 18 weeks in the NFL season . . . That means that Carrie will make $36 MILLION dollars between this year and last. And that’s if she hasn’t negotiated a raise for this season. She said she does the recording for each year all at once, too. She said, “I do the whole main version, but then we go through and pick up all the matchups for regular season and playoff football. “And I then sing every possible combination of teams that could possibly, maybe play each other, even if in the back of your mind, you’re like, ‘I know they ain’t going to make it into the playoffs.'” $18 million dollars for one day’s work is pretty spectacular.
Zach Top has that old school vibe, and is a great performer. But who knew he had jokes, too? He was recently on stage, taking questions and the moderator started talking about Post Malone and his new album “F-1 Trillion”. That’s when Zach jumped in with a smile and said, “Me and Post Malone, bringing Country back, baby.” The whole crowd seemed to love this, as it got a big laugh. The moderator then said, “Who would have thought, right?” That’s when Zach said, “Me, him, and Beyoncé.” Which got an even bigger laugh.
Last week was the seventh anniversary of the Las Vegas shooting, when a 64-year-old man opened fire on the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest music festival from his 32nd-floor hotel room. Jason Aldean was performing when the shots rang out, and he and his band immediately ran off the stage to safety . . . without warning the crowd. Some people criticize him for that . . . because the shooter was unloading more than 1,000 rounds, which ended up killing 60 people, wounding at least 413. Jason says the accusations that he was acting cowardly or selfishly TICK HIM OFF . . . because he had NO IDEA what was happening. He says he had people in his ear, yelling at him to get off the stage. And he adds, “[All I knew was] something’s wrong . . . so I’m just getting out of the way.”
