The lineup of performers and special guests has been revealed for The American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special. The show will feature music from Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown, Mariah Carey, RAYE, and Stray Kids, along with appearances by Carrie Underwood, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, and Jimmy Kimmel. The AMA’s also disclosed specific details about the performances, revealing that Carey will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Emancipation of Mimi, Hudson will be honoring Whitney Houston, Paisley will pay tribute to Charley Pride, Khan will perform her 1978 hit, “I’m Every Woman,” to celebrate AMA achievements by female artists, and Brown will celebrate country music’s legacy with a performance of classic and contemporary hits.
