Taylor Swift has one of the highest average ticket prices over the past five years . . . $239. She’s second only to U2, at $272. But she’s not even in the Top 10 if you’re calculating it BY THE MINUTE. A new study analyzed touring data from 200 of the most popular acts, and compared their average ticket prices to the average lengths of their shows. And it turns out Bruno Mars is the costliest artist, at $2.19 per minute.
Morgan Wallen, $1.39
The reason Taylor isn’t high on the list is because, even though her tickets are pricey, her concerts average 3 hours and 21 minutes . . . more than anyone else in the study.
Here is some of the best new music just released recently:

6. “Vegas” by Midland
7. “You’ll Always Be” by Lanco
8. “Thousand Miles Away” by Conner Smith
9. “Heavens to Betsy” by Jackson Dean
Morgan Wallen performed in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Friday . . . the same place where Taylor Swift spent a lot of time last year, though not on a stage. Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce was there for Morgan’s show, along with two other Chiefs stars: Patrick Mahomes and defensive tackle Chris Jones. Morgan wore a Chiefs jersey . . . with the #7 on it . . . and some thought that he was showing some love for Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, which some people found “controversial.” But Morgan has often been seen wearing jerseys with the number 7 on them, because that was HIS number in high school. Speaking of Morgan’s show, there was ANOTHER story out of it: A man at the concert was arrested after making a “terrorist threat” against two Chiefs players on the social site “X”. It sounds like it was a “joke” though. The man told the cops it “was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake.”
Jelly Roll was performing at the Tailgate N’ Tallboys festival in Michigan recently, when he spotted a young lady in the front of the crowd with an IV drip in her arm. As soon as he saw her, he paused his show and gave her a shoutout. Jelly said, “I’ve seen a lot of crazy [crap] at my shows. But this young lady is out here with a full-blown IV.” It seems like at this point someone in the crowd tells him that she is a cancer survivor. Jelly then said, “Let’s get her a chair somewhere . . . Somebody on my team, let’s get her somewhere comfortable for the rest of the show. We’ll get you off your feet, baby, okay?” According to a post that was shared later, it said that the young lady was a stage four cancer survivor . . . She was just standing there with an IV drip in her arm because she wanted to see Jelly. It’s pretty awesome that even in a crowd of 15,000, Jelly Roll still noticed this lady and was able to get her some help.
Luke Combs was doing a show at Paycor Stadium, where the Cincinnati Bengals play, and he asked the crowd, “Who knows what fantasy football is in here?” To which everybody raised their hands. Luke then said, “I’ve been in a fantasy football league with some of my best friends from high school for 12 years now, and last year we decided whoever lost was going to have to come on stage and sing with me tonight.” And he went on to say that because of a scoring issue in the last game, there were actually TWO losers, so they both had to come out and sing. Luke told the crowd, “I am so excited . . . and these guys have been nervous about this for a long time.” Some people online weren’t convinced it was that bad, because it’d be awesome to sing in front of a crowd of 60,000 people. But for Luke Combs’ two friends, this definitely felt like a punishment, because they were awful singers. They really struggled their way through, “Walking in Memphis”. But it was funny, and everybody loved it . . . regardless of how much they bombed.
Carly Pierce was in between songs at WE fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and said, “I want to tell you a little about me.” To which a disrespectful fan piped up and shouted, “No one cares.” Well, Carly did NOT appreciate that comment. So she spotted him in the crowd and made sure security kicked him out. Carly said, “Someone get him out of here. I do not want him at my show. And the fan was promptly kicked out.
