Megan Moroney finally gave us some details about dating Morgan Wallen. As a little bit of backstory, Megan’s breakout hit was called “Tennessee Orange”, and a lot of fans have always guessed that the song was about Morgan. Megan wears a Vols shirt in the cover art for her song, which helped some internet spies notice it was the same shirt that Morgan has worn in concert before. She confirmed it was Morgan’s shirt two years ago, but never talked about whether they dated or what was going on.  Until now. She appeared on a podcast, and the host finally just came out and asked, “Okay, so Megan.  Did you ever date Morgan Wallen?” And Megan said, “Never exclusively.”  She went on to break it down as simply as she could.  “So we were friends for a long time . . . [then] we were not just friends . . . and now we’re friends.” Megan said she wasn’t meaning to be coy or cryptic about it, but she doesn’t get into specifics because, “He’s such a private person, it just feels awkward talking about it.” If they ever got in an actual relationship, it would set the Country world on fire.  And to be fair, Morgan and Megan Wallen does have a nice ring to it.

Luke Combs and Garth Brooks had an in-depth conversation on the current state of Country music. Garth asked Luke who his favorite Country artists are, and he said, “When I was riding around in my car, my guys were Vince Gill, you [Garth], Clint Black, Brooks and Dunn, Randy Travis, Travis Tritt.” This is where Garth jumped back in and said, “If it wasn’t for Randy Travis, I don’t think any of [the guys in my era] would have been on the radio.  Because he brought traditional Country radio back.” And then Garth asked Luke more of a philosophical question, “Do you think Country music needs another Randy Travis moment?”  To which Luke said, “[Country] has soared in popularity.  Almost unlike anything . . . We’re talking Garth and Shania times, it feels that big.  You got the Beyoncé thing, you got Post Malone dipping his toes in . . .”It’s the hot ticket item . . . you can have the trap beat and the acoustic songwriter Zach Bryan thing and they’re both doing stadium shows.  And there’s enough room in there for everybody to do it.” Luke is right, Country is bigger than ever.

Seeing Chris Stapleton in concert is already a bucket-list item for so many.  Now imagine you’re at this dream concert AND free hot dogs are parachuting down from the sky for you to enjoy. Chris was recently performing where the Mariners play at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, and fans were treated to delicious flying hot dogs. This is something the Mariners do at home games for fun, so Chris can’t get the credit

Word has it that Carrie Underwood is joining “Idol” as a judge next season, Luke Bryan will be back, in addition to Lionel Ritchie. Carrie won Season Four of “Idol” way back in 2005.  She was 21 at the time, and was a front-runner throughout.  The upcoming season, Season 23, will air next spring . . . meaning it will be the 20th anniversary of Carrie’s star being born, if you can believe it.

Jason Momoa is 45.

Tempestt Bledsoe is 51.
