On Target’s pre-order page, they accidentally included a picture of all of the big names that are collaborating on Post Malone’s album. The picture has since been deleted, but of course the internet took screenshots. We already know he’s working with Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, and he’s teased working with Chris Stapleton . . . But that’s all we knew. Check out all the other HUGE names on this album: Hardy . . . Brad Paisley . . . Billy Strings . . . Dolly Parton . . . Lainey Wilson. . . Jelly Roll . . . Tim McGraw . . . Ernest . . . and Hank Williams Jr. “F-1 Trillion” will be released on August 16th.
When Hardy was recently asked which country star he would not want to date his sister he said: Morgan Wallen. Hardy followed it up with, quote, “He’d only break her heart, man.” But Hardy might have been short-sighted in this, because Morgan is unquestionably the biggest name in Country music. Regardless of his dating history. For example, Morgan just replaced himself at #1 on the Billboard Country chart. He was previously #1 with “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone, and has now replaced himself with his song “Cowgirls” with Ernest. And if that’s not all, Morgan just became the third Country artist ever to chart FOUR #1 songs in a single year. The only other two to accomplish this feat are Luke Combs and Garth Brooks.
The Olympics are in full swing and it’s awesome watching intense ping-pong matches and fencing at all hours of the day. But if you aren’t that into it, maybe you should look to Dolly Parton for inspiration. She posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “Feeling in the Olympics spirit. Can’t wait to cheer everyone on, you are all champions.” And then we got to see Dolly’s rendition of “We Are the Champions” alongside clips of Olympic athletes doing their thing. If that doesn’t get you fired up to watch canoe slalom, I don’t know what will.
Learn to play guitar if you want to be on stage. Jason Aldean and Zach Bryan both dealt with idiots sneaking on stage in the middle of their concerts last week. Both happened last Thursday. Jason was doing a show in Savannah, Georgia when a guy in the pit jumped up in the middle of a song and got taken down by security. The band never stopped, and security carried the guy off. Jason was reportedly heard saying, “That’s got to be the dumbest thing he’s ever done in his life.” The Zach Bryan incident happened at a show in New Orleans, and that one was weirder. Some guy managed to walk right up to him and shake his hand before being escorted off. Zach told the crowd he had “no idea who that was” and said NOT to try it yourself. But he added the guy was a “legend” for doing it.
