Shooter Jennings has a wild story. At one point the famous motorcycle group the Hells Angels started coming to all of Waylon’s shows. So much so, that they even babysat for Shooter, who was still young at the time. Shooter said, “I was literally being babysat by Hells Angels . . . they were very nice. This one guy Hotfoot, I remember him going to a putt-putt course with me as a kid.” Shooter also reminisced about an older Hells Angel named Boomer that he really liked too. He said, “I remember from a very little age, I was like ‘That guy was cool.’ He had a cane with a skeleton on it. He gave me a Pez dispenser with a skull on it because he knew how much I loved that cane.” Waylon passed away in 2002 at the age of 64. Shooter is now 44 years old.
George Strait’s 31st album is on the way. It’s called “Cowboys and Dreamers”, but he didn’t say when it’s coming out. He made the announcement during his show Saturday at the Indianapolis Colts’ stadium. George performed a few of the new songs, including one with Chris Stapleton.
Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter Emmy Russell made the “American Idol” Top 5, and some viewers are NOT excited for her. There’s a growing suspicion that there’s a CONSPIRACY afoot, because they think she’s not good enough. One person said, “Too many great people have gone home while she’s coasted to the top 5.” Another added, “Never thought a fix could happen on ‘Idol’, but u never know.” This comment says what a lot of people are thinking: “Sorry, but the fact that Emmy Russell made it into the final 5 is based on who she is related to . . . She’s talented, but not ‘American Idol’ level.”
Tom Selleck is still hoping the suits at CBS will change their minds about canceling “Blue Bloods”. . . because if he doesn’t keep working, he could lose his 63-acre ranch.
