Reese Witherspoon is developing a “Legally Blonde” TV series for Amazon. There aren’t any plot details yet, and there’s no word if Reese will play Elle Woods again.
Last month Jelly Roll underwent a major mouth reconstruction surgery. His wife Bunnie XO posted a second video of him with some brand-new pearly whites. The transformation of his smile is really impressive. At the end of the video, Bunnie asked him, “Are you gonna keep it without the golds and diamonds in?” And Jelly said, “You know what . . . y’all tell us.” So, what do YOU think? Should he stick to the pearly whites? Or should he add the gold and diamonds back into his grill? Based on the comments in TikTok, a lot more people are in favor of him leaving the new teeth just the way they are. What a difference millions (and millions) of dollars can make.
In 2007 Taylor Swift played a concert at a small high school in Anniston, Alabama and tickets were $20/pop. Proceeds went to supporting the school’s football team. That same high school has a current enrollment of 306 kids in grades 8-12, so it was small. Her five-song set included: “Our Song” . . . “Teardrops on My Guitar” . . . “Should’ve Said No” . . . and “Tim McGraw” . . . before closing with “Picture to Burn”. Today on Taylor’s “Eras Tour” she plays like 45 songs! Also, the “Eras Tour” already set the Guinness World record for the highest-grossing tour of all-time by generating over a billion dollars in revenue. And instead of $20 tickets, the cheapest tickets today cost $365 each. But good luck finding them that cheap! Last year, the average ticket price was $1,088.
It’s been 25 years since Shania Twain’s video for “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” came out. She says her wardrobe was meant to be unexpected with its reversal of gender fashion norms. In case you forgot, she wears a button-down with a tie and trench coat, then takes it off to reveal a corset with a skirt and fishnets. Shania says, “I wanted it to evolve with peeling away layers of clothes, like layers of this person coming off and revealing a different side of my inner self. “I wanted [the outfit] to show and say so much more than just man and woman, there’s a whole area in between.”
When Hank Williams Jr. plays the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama tonight, he’ll be keeping things in the family. His opening act will be his son Sam Williams, making his arena debut. As one of his five children, Sam actually avoided music at first. “To be honest, I shied away from making music for a long time. It was never pushed on me, which made it easier, but as a kid, more than anything, I just wanted to be normal, so I was really hesitant to go down that road.”
Jason Aldean will perform at the CMT Music Awards this Sunday, less than a year after they yanked his music video for “Try That in a Small Town”. They quietly cut it from their rotation last summer after people complained about racial undertones. But he was never outright banned. So what song is he performing? It WON’T be that one. He’s doing “Let Your Boys Be Country”, which is up for Video of the Year.
Within a new filing, Angelina Jolie’s lawyers claim: “While Brad Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him.” A rep for Pitt declined to comment to PEOPLE.
