The other Athlete nominees include LeBron James, Simone Biles, and Stephen Curry.
In music, the Male Artist nominees include Bad Bunny, Drake, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, and The Weeknd.
The nominees for the Female Artist of the Year include Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor.

The nominees for the Movie of 2023 are “Barbie”, “Fast X”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3”, “Oppenheimer”, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”, “The Little Mermaid”, and “The Super Mario Brothers Movie”.
And the nominees for TV Show of 2023 includes “The Bear”, “Only Murders in the Building”, “The Last of Us”, “Ted Lasso”, and “Vanderpump Rules”.
There’s also five new categories this year. They are Male Country Artist, Female Country Artist, Male Latin Artist, Female Latin Artist and Concert Tour.
Voting in all 45 categories is now open until January 19th at VotePCA.com. The show airs live on February 18th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on E!, NBC, and Peacock. Simu Liu is hosting.
Jelly Roll was on Capitol Hill yesterday to testify before a Senate committee on the fentanyl epidemic. He said that every day, 190 people overdose and die. He said, “Could you imagine the national media attention it would get if they were reporting that a plane was crashing every single day and killing 190 people?” As a former drug dealer, he has a unique perspective because he used to be, “part of the problem.” He also said, “I’ve attended more funerals than I care to share with y’all. I could sit here and cry for days about the caskets I’ve carried of people I love dearly, deeply in my soul. Good people. Not just drug addicts.” And he spoke about his daughter, whose mother is an addict. “Every day, I get to look in the eyes of a victim in my household of the effects of drugs. Every. Single. Day.” Jelly Roll told the Senators that he’s not a Republican or a Democrat, and really isn’t political at all.But he told them that people, “crave reassurance that their elected officials actually care more about human life than they do about ideology and partisanship.”
No word when it’s coming, but Kenny Chesney, who hasn’t released a new album since 2020 says, “I have to figure out which of the songs makes this record; what or why we’re holding some of these recordings for and what’s the best collection of songs we can give No Shoes Nation. I never want to just force songs on a record because I wrote them. But I love the process of writing, whether I’m writing with friends or new people. He said he’s got four or five that he feels pretty sure are gonna be on this album.
