A Broadway musical based on Prince’s “Purple Rain” is in the works.  The original movie came out in 1984, and won the Oscar for Best Original Score.

Garth Brooks is NOT quitting country music.  An article over the weekend alleged that he said he didn’t fit in anymore and that the industry isn’t what it used to be.  It turned out to be completely false.  After all, the publication is a satirical newspaper.
