The cast of Full House at one point needed FBI protection.  Apparently, some psycho showed up outside the studio where the show was being filmed, saying he was going to kill John Stamos.  Someone called security, but he was gone before they showed up. So John had an actual FBI agent following him around 24 hours a day.  Jodi Sweetin also got her share of attention from creeps . . . like guys asking for “specific photos” of her as a child, and death threats from men in prison. She even hired a former bodyguard for Henry Kissinger . . . (topical!) . . . because the FBI was trying to chase down a guy who’d threatened to kidnap her.  She says, quote, “It’s a weird way to exist.” The original “Full House” ran from 1987 to 1995.

Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband Brandon Blackstock has been ordered to pay her over $2.6 million for business deals he UNLAWFULLY handled when he was her manager. He was paid commissions for different deals, like $1.9 million for her contract with “The Voice” and $450,000 for her collaboration with Wayfair.  The contracts should’ve been made with her talent agent, NOT him. So now it’s time to turn those earnings BACK over to Kelly.

Morgan Wallen tops Billboard’s Country Airplay Artists list this year.  So, the top artist you’ve heard on radio stations like THIS one. After Morgan, it’s Luke Combs, Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, and Lainey Wilson.  The rest of the Top 10 are Jordan Davis, Tyler Hubbard, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, and Cole Swindell. Some rising stars in country also did pretty well:  Megan Moroney is 25th . . . Hailey Whitters, 32nd . . . Shane Profitt, 35th . . . and some people were surprised to see Katelyn Brown’s name at #50.  That’s Kane’s wife. Their song “Thank God” was all over the radio this year . . . #7 on Billboard’s list of Hot Country Songs in 2023.  She had a budding pop career before she went back to school and got her degree in music management in 2019. Back then at least, she had no plans to put out more music.  Quote, “I’ll leave the performing part to Kane.”

Toby Keith has been out talking about his battle with stomach cancer, and it sounds like he’s turned a corner . . . at least mentally. In a recent interview, he admitted that he was scared when he was first diagnosed, but he’s “not afraid” of cancer anymore.  In fact, he’s teasing a tour for next year. He said, “It’s on the board . . . we’re getting the trucks and buses fired up.  Our plan is to go forward, don’t let this stuff define our future . . . let’s go.”

Luke Bryan and his family have a Christmas morning tradition that sounds like a blast.  The grownups tape wrapping paper to each side of a hallway so it looks like those breakaway banners football players run through as they enter the field. When it’s time to open gifts, the kids are summoned to coming running down the hallway and bust through the paper like champs.  Obviously, it works best for kids that are old enough to break through the paper.

This puts a button on Oliver Anthony’s Cinderella-like year.  He’s been invited to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.  It’s a huge honor . . and to his credit, he’s giving due respect. He posted a photo of himself and his guitar player standing under the famous “artist entrance” awning.  He captioned it, “Thrilled to perform on December 16th at the Opry.

Hardy dedicated a recent performance of “Give Heaven Some Hell” to his tour bus driver who passed away after battling brain cancer.  He was the same driver involved in the crash last year.

The Christmas episode of “CMT Campfire Sessions”.  It airs Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. There’s a performance of “Silent Night” by Tenille Townes, Priscilla Block, Caitlyn Smith, and Brittney Spencer.

For Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner chose Theresa Nist. The couple, who got engaged during last night’s Golden Bachelor finale, will say “I do” in front of a live audience with an ABC wedding special on Jan. 4. “We are going to get married, we’re going to do it as quickly as we can because at our age, we don’t have a lot of time to waste,” Gerry said. The news comes after Gerry, 72, sent home finalist Leslie Fhima ahead of proposal day and popped the question to Theresa, 70. Gerry told both ladies during Fantasy Suites that he loved them, but ultimately felt he had a stronger connection with Theresa.  The retired restaurateur said “there were very specific characteristics that I was looking for” going into his season, and he quickly picked up on when a woman possessed those traits.  He proposed to the financial services professional in the presence of his two daughters and granddaughters during Thursday’s finale.
