This is a great idea.  Jason Aldean and Kid Rock are headlining the inaugural Rock the Country tour.  It’s a series of weekend festivals that’ll visit SMALL TOWNS across the country. It kicks off in April and runs through July.  The list of openers is amazing, and will vary depending on the city. Some of the openers are:  Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr., Nelly, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brantley Gilbert, Travis Tritt, Randy Houser, Lee Brice, Koe Wetzel, Uncle Kracker, Tyler Farr, and Colt Ford. The SEVEN small towns are Gonzales, Louisiana . . . Ashland, Kentucky . . . Rome, Georgia . . . Ocala, Florida . . . Mobile, Alabama . . . Poplar Bluff, Missouri . . . and Anderson, South Carolina.

If you need to inject a little joy into your day, check out Zach Bryan dancing with his grandma.  There’s a clip of them dancing by a fire at a fundraiser near his hometown in Oklahoma on Saturday.  The internet is in love with it. The fundraiser was for a 60-mile walk Zach’s dad Dewayne does each year to raise money for charity.  He started doing it in 2021. After the walk . . . and before the dancing . . . there was an auction to raise money.  And Zach donated a SIGNED copy of his first album “DeAnne” on vinyl. So, who bought it?  ZACH did.  He bid $4,000, then gave it away to a fan. Some guy posted a video of the bidding.  He called Zach “the kindest man [he’s] ever met.”

Morgan Wallen performed in Atlanta this weekend, and while he was singing “Wasted on You”, he sat down by the edge of the stage.  That’s when someone thought it would be funny to throw their cowboy hat at him.  It landed in his lap. But he wasn’t having it.  He grabbed the hat and threw it in the opposite direction . . . without missing a beat in the song.

Lee Greenwood is retiring at the end of 2024.  He’s released 22 albums and 40 singles, but you know him as the “God Bless the U.S.A.” guy.  I’m sure other artists will cover that song, but it won’t be the same. Lee is 81 years old and he’s hanging it up because of health issues.  Quote, “I have titanium knees, I have a titanium cage in my back with 10 screws.  I just don’t think I can do this much longer with the two boys in college.”

Dolly Parton is headed to Neyland Stadium on Saturday to cheer on the University of Tennessee Volunteers against the Georgia Bulldogs.  She’s been a known supporter of the school, and even has her own merch line.

Central Perk Coffeehouse, the café frequented by Monica, Chandler, and the gang on Friends, is opening its doors in Boston on Nov. 14. Central Perk is the first permanent coffee shop and restaurant serving light fare. It’s located on Boston’s most famous boulevard: Newbury Street. The company delayed their opening after Perry’s death on Oct. 28. Now, Central Perk will honor Perry on the new opening day.

51 year old Michael Strahan rejoined Fox NFL Sunday this weekend after a two-week hiatus. Strahan plans to return to his duties at Good Morning America on Wednesday after taking a brief break from the show for private reasons.

Pink will give away thousands of banned books at her tour stops in Florida.

Barry Manilow waited until he was 73 to come out as gay because he was worried it would ruin his career.
