Kevin Bacon has officially sworn off bacon . . . and a few other foods. He says, “I no longer eat goat and I no longer eat pig, because I have goats and I have pigs. My wife is like, ‘We can’t get any more animals, because you’re going to stop eating everything.'” He adds, “I love animals, they are a joy to be around, and they’re very, very calming for me. But we also really love to go into the garden and get fresh herbs or tomatoes or basil or peppers or zucchini.”

A lot of Wynonna Judd fans were concerned after she seemed a little out of character at the CMAs. But she says don’t worry, she’s fine. She and Jelly Roll opened Wednesday’s show with his song, “Need a Favor”. And she was gripping his arm the whole time, so it looked like she was worried she might fall. People thought it could be vertigo, which she’s been open about before. She had to cancel a New Year’s Eve performance last year due to “extreme vertigo.” But she posted a video on TikTok after Wednesday’s show and blamed the whole thing on nerves. She said she’s a huge Jelly Roll fan and wanted it to be perfect. Quote, “I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life.” She posted the video from a plane late Wednesday night and assured everyone she’d be ready to go for her show in San Antonio yesterday.
Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” was a big winner at the CMAs this week. Luke was there . . . but Tracy was not. In fact, Luke says they still haven’t communicated outside of “official correspondences.” But he hopes to change that someday. He says, “I think [Tracy] was a trendsetting artist when she came out, and she continues to be that to this day . . . I’m super, super humbled to be a super small part of that.” He says “Fast Car” was one of the first songs he learned on guitar, and that it’s one of the most impactful songs to him. Quote, “It reminds me of me and my dad, and [it’s] the song that I’ll play for my son.”
Here’s some trivia that you may or may not know. Those trophies they give out at the CMA Awards are temporary. They’re allgeneric because the winners aren’t known ahead of time. The real trophies are sent later. This came up yesterday after word got out that Jelly Roll DROPPED his New Artist of the Year trophy backstage on Wednesday . . . and it broke into pieces. He admitted it during an interview backstage.

Morgan Wallen was up for several awards at Wednesday’s CMAs, and came up dry. But it sounds like he wanted to get ahead of any negativity because he posted this on Instagram Stories after the show. “Walked in tonight a winner, didn’t leave no different.”
