Trisha Yearwood turned 59 this week, and Garth surprised her by baking her a CAKE. He’d never made one before. He said it was “pretty hideous” but hoped she’d like it anyway. She was out getting her hair done but showed up a few minutes later when she got home and found it. And it really wasn’t that bad. He made a triple-chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, and chocolate chips around the edge. She called it the “sweetest” birthday gift he’s ever given her. He told his buddies even if it sucked, he’d probably get “points for trying.” How did it taste? They tried it on camera, and he seemed surprised . . . it was actually pretty good.
Kane Brown just released his new song, “I Can Feel It” . . . and it features a generous sample of the Phil Collins classic “In the Air Tonight”. I immediately saw the image of it after we wrote it.” Kane hoped that he could debut it on-stage at Stagecoach earlier this year . . . WITH Phil. But it didn’t work out for them to share the stage. Yet. Kane officially announced the dates of next year’s “In The Air Tour”. It picks up March 28th in Charlottesville, Virginia . . . and wraps September 14th in Arlington, Texas.
