‘N Sync reunited at the VMAs last night, but just to present an award.  They didn’t announce any new projects coming up.  And Taylor Swift won most of the major awards, including Video of the Year and Song of the Year.

With Aaron Rodgers out for the season, Colin Kaepernick reportedly contacted the New York Jets to let them know he’s ready to step in.

Dolly Parton turned down Elvis Presley’s request to record “I Will Always Love You” back in the ’70s.  He demanded 50% of the song’s royalties, and she said no thank you. That was huge because HIS estate would’ve ended up owning one-half of the song that Whitney Houston spun into Platinum some 20 years later. Well, here’s another interesting twist to that story.  During her recent interview with the BBC, Dolly revealed a connection between the song and Elvis’s 1973 divorce from Priscilla Presley.  “I talked to Priscilla not very long ago.  She said to me, ‘You know, Elvis sang that song to me when we walked down the courthouse steps when we got divorced.  He was singing to me ‘I Will Always Love You’.”

Almost half of America’s 50 states will have one . . .Reba McEntire CORN MAZES are opening in 24 different states this weekend. It’s a promotional thing for her new book that comes out next month called “Not That Fancy”. 40 farms in 24 states will have corn mazes featuring her name and image.  A company called “The Maize” designed them. You can find locations and see pictures at TheMaize.com.  They officially open this Saturday. Reba is aware it’s a weird idea, calling it “one of the more unique things” she’s ever been a part of.  But she says it also involves three things she cares deeply about:  “Farming, family, and friends.”  Shady Brook Farm in Yardley     Mt Airy Orchards in Dillsburg        Winding Brook Farm in Warrington

It’s time to take Oliver Anthony seriously when he says he’s not in it for the money.  He canceled his show at Cotton Eyed Joe in Knoxville, Tennessee when he found out tickets were $99, with meet and greets at $199. He posted a video telling his fans to NOT buy those tickets.  He said he had no idea they cost so much, and wants all of his tickets to be in the $20 to $40 range.  He blamed it on miscommunication with a friend who’s been booking his shows. In a follow-up video he apologized to his fans for canceling, and promised to be more involved in future bookings.  He also wrote that all upcoming tickets will be $25, although that doesn’t include shows he’s already booked. Meanwhile, Cotton Eyed Joe had a few things to get off their chest.  They hit up Facebook saying they agreed to pay Oliver $120,000, which was a break-even amount considering the costs it takes to put on a show. And they threw a little shade with this comment:  Quote, “To our talent agency and promoter friends that follow us . . . be careful booking the North Man of Richmond.”

Morgan Wade recently released a song called “Alanis” . . . it’s about Alanis Morissette and includes a few nods to Alanis’ sound and lyrics.  And now, Alanis has shared her thoughts on it.  Spoiler Alert:  She’s thrilled. In an Instagram post, Alanis said, “Thank you for seeing me.  Your generosity, and your ability to so powerfully, vulnerably, and empathically articulate your deep kindness . . . [I’m] deeply moved.  Love you.” Morgan and Alanis do know each other.  They shared the stage at the “CMT Music Awards” earlier this year . . . when they performed Alanis’ “You Oughta Know” along with Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, and Madeline Edwards.

Kelsea Ballerini announced a hometown show at the University of Tennessee on November 2nd.  She says, quote, “It’s always been incredibly important to me to go back to the place that let me go to chase my dream . . . “Playing Thompson-Boling has been on my bucket list since I was a little kid watching my favorite musicians come through town and is the perfect place to celebrate such a bookmark year and kick off a new level of touring.”

Reese Witherspoon is denying reports that she’s a billionaire.

For the last two weeks, the nation has been gripped by the search for Danelo Cavalcante, a convicted murderer who escaped from a southeastern prison. So far he has eluded the nearly 500 law enforcement members searching for his whereabouts. Cavalcante is considered “armed and extremely dangerous.” But that doesn’t scare a certain reality show veteran who may be joining the search. Per The New York Post (as first reported by TMZ), sources claim that Dog the Bounty Hunter, aka Duane Chapman, has been following the Cavalcante case ever since he “crab-walked” his way out of Chester County Prison. He’s reportedly already contacted Pennsylvania law enforcement, though he’ll only team up with them if he can piece together a proper plan of action.
