Brantley Gilbert saw some guy punch a woman at his concert the other night, so he stopped the show, and pointed at him so security could see the man. Then he jumped off the stage, and approached the guy – who was standing behind the divider gate. Brantley got in his face and said, “Hey, hey! Get the [eff] out. Shut it down.” Security hauled the guy away. A nearby fan was able to record the whole thing.
Kane Brown proposed to Katelyn in the middle the night, and she had no idea it was coming. She talked about it in a recent interview. “Kane’s a very spontaneous person. When he has a feeling, or he knows for sure . . . he goes for it. He went [ring] shopping with his nana and his mom. [He] showed up at my house at 3:00 a.m. . . at my parents’ house . . . while I was sleeping, and proposed to me. I thought I was dreaming. I had no idea. I woke up the next morning engaged.” Kane and Katelyn’s duet “Thank God” has hit #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. They’re only the second married couple to do that. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill did it with “It’s Your Love” in 1997.
Carly Pearce called Chris Stapleton’s National Anthem at the Super Bowl “the most soulful Anthem ever.” Mickey Guyton wrote, “Wow, Chris. You killed it. Congrats my friend.” Jordan Davis -“Stapleton just crushed that Anthem.” Darius Rucker wrote, “Awesome job @Chris-Stapleton. You killed it.” Parker McCollum said, “Chris Stapleton is the greatest singer of all time, and you can’t change my mind.”
Tim McGraw saw a video of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes hitting a balloon on a wall with a behind-the-back pass. So he tried it and popped it on his 2nd try. He bragged that he’s still got a half-decent throwing arm at 55. His dad Tug McGraw was a Major League pitcher, so that’s where he gets it.
Morgan Wallen’s new album “One Thing at a Time” is ALL OVER the charts . . . and it doesn’t come out until March 3rd. According to “Billboard”, he already has seven Top 10 hits from it on the Hot Country Songs chart. They include: “Don’t Think Jesus” . . . “Thought You Should Know” . . . and “Last Night”.
NASCAR announced Breland will perform the National Anthem at the 65th Daytona 500. “His creative style and unique singing voice adds an extra element of excitement to a momentous weekend of racing and entertainment.” It airs this Sunday, the 19th, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern on Fox.
