Back in June, we heard that “The Jerry Springer Show” was ending after 26 seasons. Now, Jerry has lined up his next gig. He’s going to be taking on JUDGE JUDY. NBCUniversal is reportedly developing a show for Jerry called “Judge Jerry”. It sounds like every other courtroom show out there . . . except with Jerry on the bench. Jerry has never been a real judge, but he was a lawyer and campaign advisor for Robert Kennedy. He was also once the mayor of Cincinnati. If the show gets off the ground, it’ll premiere next fall – when “The Jerry Springer Show” is supposed to end. Technically, it hasn’t been officially canceled . . . but production on the show has been shut down, and there are no plans to film any more episodes.
CMT.com talked to GARTH BROOKS before his Notre Dame concert last Saturday. They asked how he’s feeling after 33 years as an entertainer. He said, “I think George Strait said it best in ‘Troubadour’: ‘I still feel 25.’ I do. I still always feel like the guy just starting out. We’re still just boys from Oklahoma and Kansas playing music. Time changes, but you don’t. Nobody really changes. When you see someone who has changed since becoming an artist, they might just be revealing who they really are. Because nobody changes.” Garth feels if a celebrity turns into a jerk after they become famous, it’s because they were a jerk before they were famous. They just faked it on the way up. That concert was filmed for a TV special. It’s called “Garth: Live at Notre Dame!” and it airs December 2nd on CBS.

You may have heard that Hurricane Michael ripped apart a house owned by LUKE BRYAN’s mom. She recently went back with friends to survey the damage, and it’s catastrophic. People.com has some heartbreaking photos. In one, she appears to be crying while leaning against a gator vehicle. There’s also a shattered frame containing Luke’s first #1 single, “Rain Is A Good Thing”.
