Morgan Wallen’s new album “I’m the Problem” isn’t due out until May 16th, but it’s already upsetting Swifties everywhere. First, he named his album a popular lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Anti-Hero” . . . and now he’s taking records away from her, too. Morgan’s new song “Just in Case” came in at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. This breaks the record for the most top 10s on the Hot 100 from an album prior to its release. This is Morgan’s 14th top 10 on the Hot 100 in his lifetime . . . so he has a little way to catch Taylor in that department. She has 59.
Jelly Roll just won the Global Literacy Award, as a recognition for “his global influence on literacy.” And in addition to that, he was also the keynote speaker at Oxford in England at the 2025 World Literacy Summit. He gave a speech called, “The Journey of a Little Boy from Broken to ‘Beautifully Broken’.” Jelly advocated for “improving foundational literacy within the justice system . . . especially among youth offenders, through educational programs and resources.” His story of going from incarceration to being one of the most loved celebrities on the planet, is inspiring.
Lainey Wilson just teamed up with the guys from “Are You Kidding TV” who were offering fans something special in downtown Nashville. All you had to do was sing a Lainey Wilson song in front of the group, and you’d win $500. But you had to be wearing bell-bottoms. So, a few fans saw them standing there with the sign, but they weren’t wearing bell-bottoms so they were out of luck. That’s when a random fan who chose the right pants that morning stepped up and made herself some cash. She used her phone to sing the lyrics of “Heart Like a Truck” to the two guys and Lainey. And the best part is when the random fan found out she was singing in front of Lainey herself.
