Ben Affleck calls Jennifer Garner “wonderful and great” and a “really good co-parent.”  And he says of his split with Jennifer Lopez, quote, “There’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue.”

The ACM Awards will take place on May 8th live from The Star in Frisco, Texas. It was already announced a while ago that Reba McEntire will return to host, and now they just revealed their first round of performers that are set to take the stage.

1.  Lainey Wilson, who is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, will be performing live. She’ll probably do a song off her newest album, “Whirlwind”.  The North American leg of Lainey’s Whirlwind Tour kicks off August 14th.

2. Eric Church will be singing live promoting his new album “Evangeline vs. The Machine”, which will have come out six days before on May 2nd.

3.  And Blake Shelton will also be there.  With good timing, too, as his new album “For Recreational Use Only” comes out the next day on May 9th.

Trisha Yearwood is officially Hollywood famous.  On Monday, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  That’s the 2,805th star given out. Her husband, Garth Brooks, was there to cheer her on, along with fellow country stars Reba McEntire and Carly Pearce. In her speech, Trisha said it was a surreal moment and that she was, “overwhelmed.” And then she went on to give thanks to Garth, too.  She said, “As many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something.  And for all of the people who want this for me, nobody wants it more than you.”

Zach Bryan made his last announcement of the year yesterday.  He has a new show at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia on August 30th. What he ACTUALLY said was, “Last announce of the year” . . . Odd wording, but we’re assuming that means that this will be his last concert planned for 2025. But how much you want to bet that this will, in fact, NOT be his last “announce of the year”? Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Miley Cyrus is releasing a movie along with her new album “Something Beautiful”.

Blake Shelton’s next duet with Gwen Stefani is a BREAK-UP song. The song will be called “Hanging On”.  Here’s what Blake had to say, “It’s about breaking up but still trying to stay together . . . It’s really [not a] reflection of where Gwen and I are in our relationship, I HOPE.” At least he got that out of the way. Blake then went on to say, “it pushes us vocally.  And we just love it.  We’ve gotten to a point in our lives where we just want to do songs that we love, and then see what happens later.”
