On Friday, Morgan Wallen released two new songs from his upcoming album, “I’m the Problem”. But he’s not spoiling anything by releasing two songs, he’s just giving you a taste.  Because there are 35 MORE where that came from. To be fair, this is in line with what Morgan has done in the past.  His 2023 album “One Thing at a Time” had 36 songs.  And his 2021 album “Dangerous: The Double Album” had 30 songs. But doesn’t 37 just feel excessive?  Long gone are the days where the best 10 or 12 songs made the album. How many of those songs are gonna be filler?  Is it even possible to produce 37 great songs in that amount of time? The two newest songs are called, “Just in Time”, and “I’m a Little Crazy” . . . But that’s not all he’s released.  Morgan also put out the title track, “I’m the Problem” . . . “Love Somebody” . . . “Lies, Lies, Lies” . . . “Smile” . . . and “Superman”. Which means, there are still THIRTY new songs for you to enjoy when the album drops on May 16th.

Luke Combs was honored this past week with a star at the Music City Walk of Fame. This is only the 109th star given out in its history, so he’s in pretty rare company.  (For comparison, there are 2,804 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.) Luke posted a few great photos of himself and his family at the ceremony and said, “When I moved from North Carolina to Nashville, I had no idea what the future held for me there.  I only hoped I could do enough in country music to pay my bills.  It was never about any kind of recognition, just the love of music.” Luke went on to say, “I’ll be forever grateful for this and Music City taking me in as one of their own.  I get to do what I love, which is singing country music, because of it.  I feel honored to be in such prestigious company.”

Lainey Wilson is one heck of a country singer, but she’s almost as well known for her fashion choices at this point. She brought back bell-bottoms in a major way, and it’s kinda all you see her in these days.  So someone recently asked her if she was going to wear bell-bottoms for her WEDDING. Here’s what she said, “I’m going to wear a dress.  I haven’t done the whole dress shopping.  We haven’t even picked a date or anything like that . . . I hadn’t worn a dress for him yet, and I guess that would be the day to do it.” So, the first time Duck Hodges will see Lainey in a dress will be on their wedding day?  That’s amazing.  But I wonder if she changes into pants for the reception.

Last week, Parker McCollum completely wiped his Instagram clean.  And fans were speculating that he had some big news on the horizon. Well, now Parker just announced that he’s added 16 more shows to his summer tour.  But he did it on Twitter.  But either way, the added 16 shows are welcome.  His tour dates used to end in August, but now it goes all the way through October 18th. Special guests on the tour include Ashley Cooke, Kameron Marlowe, Hudson Westbrook, and more.

Billy Ray Cyrus dropped a new song called “Ask” and the reactions are not so great. To be fair, the last time we heard Billy sing, it was a trainwreck of a performance at the Liberty Ball for the inauguration.  So, this is definitely a step up from that. Here are some of the best comments on his new video:  “Sounds fire on MUTE” . . . “I don’t remember this scene in ‘Walking Dead'” . . . and “Clear your throat and try again, Billy.”

George Clooney is done being a sex symbol.  Quote, “Look, I’m 63 years old.  I’m not trying to compete with 25-year-old leading men.  That’s not my job.  I’m not doing romantic films anymore.”  Lizzo is going to star in a biopic about Sister Rosetta Tharpe, a gospel singer who became famous in the ’30s and…
