Megan Moroney is teasing new music. There was a clip going round from an intimate songwriter’s night at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, where Megan debuted a brand-new song.  But the clip has since been taken down. The new song is called “Beautiful Things” and it could be her next single.  Watching, in awe, was Ed Sheeran . . . who was also featured that night.

Yesterday, Jelly Roll won Country Artist of the Year at the iHeart Music Awards, but he was not in attendance to accept the award. Instead, he pre-taped his acceptance speech, so it was a little less exuberant than we’re used to . . . but still full of love. Here’s what he said, “What’s up y’all?  I really wish I was there.  I am absolutely honored.  I was thinking about last year . . . and I won Best New Country Artist.  To come back this year and win Best Country Artist of the Year is just unbelievable in every way it can be.” He went on to thank his fans, and radio stations for playing his music.  The other nominees in the category were Kane Brown . . . Lainey Wilson . . . Chris Stapleton . . . Luke Combs . . . and Morgan Wallen. Jelly is currently busy on his Beautifully Broken: Great Northern Tour in Canada, so he couldn’t make the show.

Do you still watch country music award shows?  A lot of people don’t because they say they don’t play enough “real” country music, or there are too many cross-over artists that have nothing to do with country. Well, Kip Moore has an answer for all that. In a recent interview he said, “I feel like we’re desperate in a way, when we don’t need to be.  But you don’t see other genres doing that.  They think by getting Nick Jonas to play with whoever, then that’s gonna be more powerful than a Cody Johnson, before he became a star.” “Nick Jonas, just because he’s on the show . . . #1 his fans aren’t gonna tune in, and the people that really love country are gonna say, ‘What is this?’ and then turn it off.” No response from Nick Jonas yet.  But shots fired indeed.

Did you know Kane Brown was a golfer?  He just posted a video on Instagram where he’s teeing off on a par three.  And his swing looks pretty good. The caption reads, “I want lessons!  Who can help me?”  But it doesn’t look like he needs that much help, because he stripes it right on to the green.

Tracy Morgan left last night’s Knicks game in a wheelchair, after throwing up and suffering a bloody nose.  There’s no word what happened, or how he’s feeling

Conan O’Brien has already been hired to host the Oscars again next year.

Chris O’Donnell will star in ABC’s “911: Nashville”.

For the 40th anniversary of “Three’s Company”, an entertainment publicist posted the never-before-seen original intro scene.  The theme song doesn’t have lyrics, and it features two OTHER actresses, before Joyce DeWitt and Suzanne Somers were hired.

Lily Collins is 36.  Phil Collins’ daughter.  She’s Snow White in “Mirror Mirror” and the star of the Netflix show “Emily in Paris”.

Duane Henry is 40.  Clayton Reeves on “NCIS”.

Adam Levine is 46.  Maroon 5 singer and “Voice” coach.

Queen Latifah is 55.

Vanessa Williams is 62.

Mike Rowe is 63.  Host of “Dirty Jobs”

Geoffrey Owens is 64.  Elvin on “The Cosby Show”.  After a photo of him working at Trader Joes went viral and he was job shamed for it, Tyler Perry offered him a job, and he also landed a guest spot on “NCIS: New Orleans”.

A few weeks ago, we heard about a $19 Japanese strawberry that was being sold in Beverly Hills.  That’s $19 for a SINGLE STRAWBERRY. Is it any good.  Demi Lovato tried one and posted her reaction on TikTok.  Her rating?  She gave it an 8 out of 10 and said, quote, “It’s not tart at…
