Still no word on when Morgan Wallen’s new album “I’m the Problem” will drop.  But he posted a photo to his Instagram Stories that suggests it’ll be another DOUBLE album. “Dangerous: The Double Album” had 30 tracks in 2021 . . . “One Thing at a Time” had 36 tracks in 2023 . . . and it looks like the new one could have roughly that same amount. The photo shows a whiteboard where he’s been working out the song order.  All the songs are blurred out except two . . . “Love Somebody”, and the title track that came out on Friday.  But at least 30 songs total. Another dozen or so didn’t have slots yet.  It’s not clear if those are making the cut.  But if they do, it could have over 40 songs on it . . . enough to call it a triple album if he wants.

Last week we talked about George Strait and his hangover cure.  It was a bowl of menudo, which is made from the stomach lining of a cow. But if you don’t have an authentic Mexican eatery nearby, don’t worry . . . Eric Church just revealed his go-to hangover cure . . . and it’s a bit more accessible.  One is 5-Hour Energy, because of all the B-vitamins that are in it.  You can start pounding those, and it’s either gonna work, or it’s gonna keep you up and prolong your misery.” His second hangover cure, is where the true magic lies.  He said, “The other one I have, is just take two Advil and a beer in the morning.  Hair of the dog, man.  Works every time.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo bought a huge property outside of Nashville and have been busy filling out their farm. They got some pigs, some mini-cows, and even a donkey, named Donkey.  And everyone seems really happy with the new digs . . . except for Donkey. Apparently, he’s been staying by himself, and everyone thought that he was sad and missed his old home.  So Bunnie got him a DONKEY FRIEND, named Nova.  And now Donkey and Nova are best friends for life.According to the American Mule Association’s, “Guide to Donkey Care”, donkeys often thrive in a bonded pair.  And the two seem to hit it off right away.  So, it looks like they made the right choice.

It seems like EVERYONE has a take on Beyoncé and her country album . . . even before she was winning Grammys in the country category.  And Kacey Musgraves probably has some feelings about it. Kacey was competing with Beyoncé in the Best Country Album category at the Grammys, and people online noticed that she didn’t seem thrilled when Beyoncé was announced as the winner on the broadcast. Someone caught up with her afterward and asked her about it, and she wouldn’t comment other than giving a thumbs up . . . which was probably sarcastic.

The Grammys were on last night and Beyoncé dominated the country section of the awards, even though she said that “Cowboy Carter” was NOT a country album.  The Grammys seem to disagree. But to be fair, Beyoncé also won ALBUM OF THE YEAR for “Cowboy Carter” as well.  Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus won the award…
