Last week, Megan Moroney posted a picture to her Instagram that said, “On island time”. And she tagged the location as Saint-Jean in Saint Barts in the Caribbean. Soon after, Riley Green posted to his Instagram stories, highlighting his own beach vacation. Normally the story would end here. But because people on the Internet never sleep, this story is far from over. Through a reverse image search, the internet detectives soon found out that Riley’s photos were also taken from St. Barts. So, is it a coincidence that the two country music superstars are both taking a beach vacation . . . on the same small island in the Caribbean . . . at the exact same time? Or is this evidence of something far more nefarious? Like, they’re both hot and want to hook up with each other. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The Super Bowl is right around the corner. But the Madden Bowl will be pretty awesome, too. Especially now that Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll, Shaboozey, and Tucker Wetmore are tapped to perform. The Madden Bowl features the best Madden football players in the world competing for a one-million-dollar prize pool. And this year it’s at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans. The VP of EA Sports says, “EA Sports is a cornerstone of Super Bowl Week, and on Friday [February 7th] at Super Bowl 59, we’re bringing together fans, music, athletes, esports, and Madden in an unforgettable celebration of football.” Tucker added, “I grew up on Madden . . . so, to go from being a kid playing it in my room to performing on the brand’s biggest stage, alongside some of the biggest artists in music, at Super Bowl week, is incredible.” You can watch the Madden Bowl and all these great performers Friday, February 7th on their Twitch and YouTube social accounts.
If you have tickets to see Keith Urban this year, it might look a bit different than normal. That’s because he just dropped two longtime members from the band. The first band member kicked out was multi-instrumentalist Nathan Barlowe. He’d been with the band for almost a decade. He had nothing but kind words to say about his time with Keith. And the second band member that got the boot was bassist Jerry Flowers, who’s been playing with Keith for over 25 YEARS. He also was classy, and only had positive things to say. There’s no word from Keith on why he’s making such dramatic changes to his band. And it wasn’t announced who will be replacing them. Keith has a show tonight in Toronto, and will embark on his High and Alive Tour starting in May.
The Wiggles went country in October when they put out a song about their new big red truck. Now they’re releasing a whole country ALBUM to entertain your kid. It’s called “Wiggle Up, Giddy Up”, and it’s got 32 tracks. They brought in some heavy hitters for it, including Lainey Wilson, Dolly Parton, and just released the title track featuring Dasha. Dolly helped out on two songs, and Lainey’s on one called “Let’s Ride”. Other featured artists include Morgan Evans, Jackson Dean, and MacKenzie Porter. The full album lands March 7th.
Uncle Kracker said Kid Rock called him and said that Kenny Chesney wanted him to join a huge concert he was doing in Tennessee in the early 2000s . . . and Kracker told Kid Rock he didn’t know who that was, but he might be interested.Not only did Uncle Kracker do the show, but they became fast friends, and it wasn’t long until they’d collaborated on a few songs, including “When the Sun Goes Down”. He said they still talk “a few times a week, easily.”
Kevin Costner had a drink with the single Jennifer Lopez, and now, insiders are starting romance rumors between the two. In case you missed it, a few weeks ago, both of them, along with many other celebs, spent winter getaways in Aspen, Colorado. And insiders claim that they looked pretty close.
