98-year-old Dick Van Dyke appears in the new Coldplay video, “All My Love”. He sings, dances, and even sits down at a piano to watch Chris Martin compose a song for him.
Morgan Wallen is a man of mystery. He won CMA Entertainer of the Year and still hasn’t even said anything about it. In general, he doesn’t post or share much, so it’s tough to get updates on him . . . especially since his One Night at a Time Tour wrapped back in October. Ella Langley and Riley Green’s duet, “You Look Like You Love Me” just reached #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. That meant Ella ended a 51-week draught for females on top of the chart. The last woman to have the top spot was Lainey Wilson, last December . . . when she and Jelly Roll went #1 with “Save Me”. That’s the longest hiatus between female #1s since 2004.
Chris Stapleton released his album “Traveller” in May of 2015 . . . and it has been on Billboard’s Top Country Album Chart ever since. That’s 500 weeks. Which is a milestone that’s only been passed by one other album ever. Willie Nelson’s 1978 album, “Stardust”, holds the record with 551 weeks on the chart. Chris wrote 12 of the 14 songs on “Traveller”. “Traveller” also won Album of the Year at the CMAs . . . Best Country Album at the Grammys . . . and is certified 6x Platinum.
