Elton John revealed on “Good Morning America” that he hasn’t been able to see out of his right eye since July, and his left eye is already “not the greatest.” It’s delayed him from releasing new music.
When country music stars were asked, “Who is the most attractive person in country music?” Here’s what they had to say:
1. Riley Green and Sam Hunt both said Carrie Underwood.
2. Jordan Davis said Luke Combs was the most attractive. “People” magazine agrees.
3. Luke Combs said he was the most attractive . . . obviously.
4. Priscilla Block said Lainey Wilson was the hottest.
5. Bailey Zimmerman said it was either Riley Green, Ella Langley, or Megan Moroney.
6. Dasha said Zach Top.
7. Ashley McBryde blurted out, “TJ Osborne”, immediately.
8. Luke Bryan said that if he said a girl, that’s creepy . . . but if he said a guy, that’d be creepier. And then he named, “Riley Green.”
9. Ella Langley had the most surprising response. She said, “Alan Jackson, still.”
10. And Cody Johnson had the only correct answer of the night. He said, “My wife.” Smart man.
If you were wondering who Jelly Roll voted for in the presidential election, the answer is . . . nobody. Jelly didn’t vote, because he couldn’t vote. He’s a FELON. And in the state of Tennessee, felons aren’t allowed to vote, under most circumstances. But, because Jelly was seen shaking hands with Donald Trump at the last UFC match, people online accused him and Bunnie Xo of voting for Trump. In a comment that has since been deleted, Jelly said, “I can’t vote, sir. At all, lol. Nor have I ever. Nor will I ever be allowed to vote. It’s alright, you don’t know me, but please don’t lie about me.” Back in January when Jelly testified in front of Congress, he clarified his political stance. He said, “I am a musician. I have no political alliance. I am neither Democrat nor Republican. In fact, because of my past, my right to vote has been restricted, thus I have never paid attention to a political race in my life.” There you have it, folks. Jelly voted for nobody.
Shaboozey’s smash-hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is now #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 19th week. That ties him for the MOST all time. “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus also got to 19 weeks back in 2019. So clearly mixing hip-hop and country music is a proven winner. I wonder who will do it next. As for Shaboozey, he said that country music “resonates really strongly with him.” But he also said, “I love hip-hop. And I’m part of their community, too. That’s what I want to do with my music . . . Be disruptive and show people that music is progressing.”
During band introductions at a Zach Bryan show his banjo player fakes a medical emergency. And he slumps over and grabs his chest, and eventually is “brought back to life” by his bandmates. And then he suddenly rushes to the front of the stage for a sweet banjo solo to kick off one of Zach’s biggest hits, “Revival”. Well, maybe their band should inform all of the medical personnel on site before they pull this stunt? Because at a show on Friday night, paramedics watched this go down and ran up to the stage to help. Just like they are trained to do. But when they got up to the front, they realized he was just faking it, so they walked back to where they came from. In the video capturing the moment, you can overhear one of the paramedics saying, “They should have told us that was part of the act.”
