“Reboot 2” just dropped on Friday and it features the biggest country superstars singing Brooks & Dunn covers. Brooks & Dunn released a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the album.
1. Jelly Roll said that even his mom is going to be impressed that he worked with Brooks & Dunn. But she’d warn him, “Don’t you butcher that classic.”
2. Lainey Wilson recorded her song in a very flamboyant pantsuit with bright flames all over it. She said, “I got this out of Kix’s closet.”
3. Morgan Wallen said it was really cool recording with them because, “Every vehicle I got in as a kid was blaring their music. It’s a big-time honor to do this with them now.”
Also, shout-out to Megan Moroney who you usually see all dolled up . . . But instead, she was in Chuck Taylors and a T-shirt, engrossed in the music-making process
Luke Combs was named “People” magazine’s sexiest 34-year-old man on the planet. John Krasinski was just named the Sexiest Man Alive, but “People” also broke down sexiness by age. Warren Zeiders was named the sexiest 25-year-old on the planet. And NBA star Dwyane Wade was the sexiest 42-year-old. Noah Kahan was named the sexiest 27-year-old, too. He posted the picture and wrote, “There’s been a mistake, People.”

Bro-country dominated a large part of the 2010s. So how did it come to an end? Hardy says, “I do feel like I am a part of a class of artists, me, Jelly, Morgan, Ernest, Lainey Wilson, that have been a part of a shift in country music that brought a wave of normalcy. Like normal people singing a little bit more about normal [stuff] and that sort of resonating with a huge, mass crowd of people.” He added that the bro-country phase had a “larger-than-life persona.” And he thinks that all came to an end, because people just sing about normal stuff now. And a lot of people, especially in smaller towns, relate to that.
