The Country Music Hall of Fame held their induction ceremony on Sunday–Three artists were inducted: John Anderson, guitarist James Burton, and the late and great Toby Keith.
Jelly Roll just posted a video after stopping by a juvenile detention center in Columbus, Ohio this month. He swung by to let the kids know they can choose a different path, just like he did. He talked about how he spent 10 years locked up from ages 14 to 26. He also took time out to beat them at cards. He joked that instead of preaching, he wanted to show them how bad they are at spades. But he did do a little preaching too.
Ernest is wrapping up his Legalize Country Music Road Show Tour this week. He shared his pre-show ritual that he does before every show. “I’ll take a little nap, wake up, [take a] cold shower, drink a pre-workout and then I’m good to go.” He also listens to Keith Whitley radio and keeps a few essentials in his green room. “I love a good earthy candle and Sun Chips . . . and I always have a fresh toothbrush and deodorant . . .”I always participate in my own little Willie Nelson ritual before I go out there, so that might help. “
