Jelly Roll showed up at a Walmart in Wichita, Kansas and wanted to buy a few hard copies of his new album, “Beautifully Broken”. The employee that was helping Jelly had no idea who he was. They were in luck as Jelly was able to find his album on vinyl and purchase the last of the CDs that were available in the store.
Morgan Wallen just announced a three-day music festival at Gulf Shores, Alabama next year called “Sand in My Boots”. The lineup hasn’t been released yet, but festival organizers are promising a huge turnout. They said it will feature a highly curated multi-genre lineup. The performers will be some of Morgan’s best friends, his favorite artists, and singers who have inspired him. Mark your calendars for May 16th to the 18th.
Dasha says she rented out Orson Welles’ mansion in Hollywood, which is apparently available to rent as an Airbnb. And she thinks it IS haunted. She says things would move in the Billiard Room . . . and they went “under the basement” with something that could detect radio frequencies, and it was going crazy. She adds that there was a creepy, “get out of here energy.”
The next big Country crossover collaboration might be coming from Zach Bryan and Snoop Dogg. Snoop broke the news on the “Today” show. He said, “Zach sent me a song. I gotta put a verse on it.” He even mentioned how much he loved the interview Zach did with Bruce Springsteen for “Rolling Stone”. Snoop said, “I’m inspired, seeing that from him, with The Boss.” Of course, in that interview Zach said that he doesn’t want to be known as a Country musician. And putting out songs with Snoop Dogg can definitely make that a reality.
