When Parker McCollum was starting out, his dad offered to buy him a tour bus and put his entire band on salary until they kickstarted their career. Parker turned him down because he thought no one would respect them.

Darius Rucker. He said that growing up he lived in a three-bedroom house with his mom, grandma, two aunts, and 14 kids.
Kane Brown. He had a tough childhood, and even was homeless at times growing up.
Tim McGraw. He didn’t get any help from his biological dad, Major League Baseball player, Tug McGraw. Instead, he was raised by his mom in a low-income neighborhood.

There was supposedly a “tense” exchange between Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek during a Balenciaga fashion show in Paris the other night that was caught on video. They were standing with Katy Perry while photographers snapped pictures. It seemed like Salma and Nicole were having cross words, but the video didn’t pick up all the sound. So far, neither has commented.
The Dallas Cowboys got destroyed by the Detroit Lions 47 to 9 on Sunday. And in the middle of the blowout, they decided it was a good time to announce that Lainey Wilson will be their Thanksgiving Halftime show performer. Fans were less than pleased with the timing. Hopefully the Cowboys win a few games from now until then, so Lainey gets a warmer welcome on Thanksgiving.
For several years now during the fourth quarter at Tennessee Volunteer home games, you would hear “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks. Now been replaced with Morgan Wallen’s song, “The Way I Talk”. While some people attributed the change to the recent allegations made against Garth Brooks, the university said this change had been coming for months. Fans heard it for the first time this past weekend, and everybody immediately started singing along.
Luke Combs and Eric Church are preparing for their “Concert for Carolina” event later this month, benefiting the Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Luke doesn’t think it would be tasteful to perform his hit song “Hurricane”. However, Luke is NOT shying away from naming his new bar Category 10. He announced yesterday on social media that the bar will be opening in Nashville on November 2nd.
Darius Rucker fell on stage at his Hootie & the Blowfish show in Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday. It’s his hometown, so that made it sting a little more. They’d just started his hit “Alright” when it happened, but he didn’t fall hard. He actually kept singing on his way down and managed to get out the line, “I’ve got a stereo.” He was tripping over a speaker . . . so that was fitting.
