Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce on May 22nd after just seven months of marriage to Firerose.  Now he’s accusing her of racking up almost $100,000 in credit card charges over the two weeks that followed. He says between May 23rd and June 7th, she made 37 unauthorized charges and spent a total of $96,986 through his business account. She reportedly spent over $70,000 of that on lawyer fees.  It’s not clear where the rest of it went, but she claims she’s had access to the card for two years, and he has “no right to cut her off.” Billy filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct.”  He’s hoping to get the marriage annulled on the grounds of fraud, and wants a temporary restraining order to keep her from spending any more money. He may have been referencing the split in an Instagram post over the weekend when he shared a letter Johnny Cash wrote him in 1992.  He said it reminded him he “made a promise to [himself] not to look back and only look forward.”

Lainey Wilson performed Thursday night at Country Fest Ohio.  During her cover of Alan Jackson’s “Gone Country”, a fan passed her their prosthetic leg. She carried it around on stage for a bit while she was singing. Then she signed it before giving it back.  And she never missed a beat on the song.

George Strait made history on Saturday, when he played Kyle Field at Texas A&M University.  He filled the stadium with 110,905 people, which was the largest ticketed crowd in U.S. history. The previous record was 107,019.  That’s how many people paid to see the Grateful Dead at Raceway Park in New Jersey in 1977. Obviously, George also broke the Kyle Field attendance record.  Oh, and he has the record for largest indoor ticketed concert in North America, with 104,793 fans at his AT&T Stadium show in 2014. Fellow Texas natives Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman opened for George.
