Miley Cyrus was just interviewed by “W Magazine” and shared a lot of cool stories. One of them was about her godmother, Dolly Parton. Miley said the main way Dolly gets a hold of her is via FAX MACHINE. Miley said, “No one else faxes. I literally have to access my lawyer’s office, because the lawyer is the only one who can receive a fax.” Dolly said this about Miley, “She is always in the loop with all the things pertaining to the business . . . and people I should know and work with.” So, it seems like Dolly will want to be reaching out often, but unfortunately, they didn’t go into how many faxes she sends. One of the faxes Dolly sent to Miley said, “How much do I love you? As much as my heart can hold, and as long as my arms can reach.” To which Miley said, “It gets me choked up. I just love her so much.” And in an interview with Seth Meyers a few years back, Miley explained one time she got a demo from Dolly and it was all on cassette tape. Miley said, “Which then was voice memoed onto a flip phone, and then someone put [it] onto the iPhone . . . which then got sent to me.” Faxes, cassette tapes, and flip phones? Just another reason to love Dolly Parton.
Morgan Wallen’s new bar in downtown Nashville finally opened on Saturday, and it was a big success . . . if you don’t count the fact that it opened a week later than expected. This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen was supposed to open Memorial Day weekend, but they had some last-second problems with permits. They had to wait for final inspections . . . a 20-foot tall neon sign with his name in lights got denied last-minute . . . and they couldn’t get the catering permit approved in time. More than a few fans showed up last weekend and were disappointed when they couldn’t get in. But this Saturday’s opening went off without a hitch. They posted a video of people braving the rain and lining up and down the block to get in . . . and apparently no one threw any chairs off the roof. So all in all, it was a big success.
Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde will host this year’s CMA Fest special. The three-hour concert will air June 25th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on ABC. It’ll stream the next day on Hulu. CMA Fest takes place this Thursday through Sunday in Nashville. It’ll include performances from Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Hardy, and Lainey Wilson.
Megan Moroney just released a new single from the soundtrack to the upcoming movie “Twisters”. It’s called “Never Left Me”, and in an Instagram post she said it’s inspired by, quote, “my childhood home.” She also took her shot at the star of the movie in the comments section, saying, quote, “(Glen Powell call me).” Glen is kinda the hot guy of the moment, with credits including “Top Gun: Maverick”, the romantic comedy “Anyone But You”, and the upcoming remake of “The Running Man”.

Bebe Rexha had fans at her show removed after they threw stuff at her onstage. If you remember, last year she got a black eye from getting a phone thrown at her.
