The most-watched series of this TV season was the NFL’s “Sunday Night Football” on NBC.  It was followed by “Monday Night Football” on ABC and “Thursday Night Football” on Prime Video.  The most-watched network was CBS

The oldest rockers on tour this summer include Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, and Mike Love of the Beach Boys, who are all 83.  Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are both 80.

“Rolling Stone” just named the best 200 country songs of all time. Here are the top five:

1.  “Jolene” by Dolly Parton (1973).

2.  “I Walk the Line” by Johnny Cash (1956).  What is more iconic than the Man in Black?

3.  “Crazy” by Patsy Cline

4.  “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” by Hank Williams (1949).

5.  “He Stopped Loving Her Today” by George Jones (1980).

The highest contemporary song on the list, is none other than Taylor Swift at #20 with “Mean” (2010). That means Taylor has a song that beats out every Garth Brooks song, every Chris Stapleton song, and every Willie Nelson song.  Plus, it ranks higher than “The Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash at #25.

Noah Kahan was doing back-to-back sold out shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena recently, and on night two he brought out Kelsea Ballerini for the encore to sing “Stick Season”.  The internet seems to think she butchered it. Some of the comments include:

. . . “It’s like that drunk girl that won’t sit down at karaoke.”

. . . “Ma’am when the harmony is twice as loud as the melody it doesn’t work, I’m sorry.”

. . . “Nah she ruined this.  Wasn’t in tune at all.”

But some people are wondering if it’s just an unfortunate clip with bad audio. Because another video was posted and they sound pretty good together.

Zach Bryan sent his new single “Pink Skies (Eulogy)” to POP radio. “Pink Skies” is the first single off his upcoming album “The Great American Bar Scene”, and if it becomes a pop hit, it won’t be Zach’s first. “I Remember Everything”, featuring Kacey Musgraves, actually TOPPED the Hot 100, as well as the Hot Country Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts.

Darius Rucker’s new memoir “Life’s Too Short” came out yesterday.  He talks about breaking into country, his time with Hootie, and how he partied WAY too hard back then. He also finally broke his silence on his drug arrest in February, almost a year after being pulled over near Nashville for expired tags. “I had a little bit of pot, and I think a little bit of some mushrooms or something in the car, and [the cop] let me go.  And a year later, I got a phone call from a buddy that said, ‘I think I just saw an arrest warrant for you.'” He says some friends in law enforcement told him it’s odd for that much time to pass, and asked if maybe he’d ticked somebody off or something. “I think somebody wanted to make an example out of me, and they did.  I’m handling it with my lawyers and paying the price, and we’ll move on with our lives.”

Carrie Underwood is back in Las Vegas for a residency called “Reflection”.  She named it that because she wanted it to be a reflection of all the things she and her band have accomplished over the past few years. ” We love to be on stage, so I think that’s what we always look forward to most whenever we are ever getting to play.  It’s gonna be super fun.” She’ll be in Vegas for select dates from now until October 26th.

Pete Davidson walked off stage during a performance on Friday night because of hecklers

Sofia Vergara says she’d do a “Modern Family” revival in a second.

Riley Keough is 35.  Elvis’s granddaughter.  Lisa Marie’s daughter.

Carmelo Anthony is 40.  NBA star for the L.A. Lakers.

Mel B. is 49.  “America’s Got Talent” judge.  Scary Spice from The Spice Girls.

Lisa Whelchel is 61.  Blair on “The Facts of Life”.

Melissa Etheridge is 63.

Rupert Everett is 65.

LaToya Jackson is 68.  The second-most talented Jackson.  Behind Tito.  It’s also her sister Rebbie’s 74th birthday today.
