Luke Combs was recently asked if he was stuck on a deserted island, and only had one album to listen to for the rest of his life, which one would he choose?  Luke said, “Oh man, that’s tough.” He then said, “Gosh there’s a lot.  You can only listen to one album forever?  Can you cheat and go [with a] greatest hits album?” He eventually answered with two classics.  He said, “I’d probably do, like, Tom Petty’s Greatest Hits [or] Eagles Greatest Hits, maybe.  There’s just so much good stuff going on there, ya know?” Luke closed with this, “I’d feel like I’d really want bang for my buck, and I’d really want greatest hits.”

In case you forgot, Bailey Zimmerman stripped down to his underwear during his Stagecoach set.  So, when he was asked about his questionable wardrobe decisions, he said “I just want to find a wife, bro?”  But his method is not all madness.  Later in the interview he explained that he just wants his future wife to accept him for him.  He said, “I’ve got ADHD really bad, I’m just kinda all over the place.  I don’t want to change who I am, so I just gotta find a girl that loves it.” He told a cool story about his Grandma and Grandpa and how they’ve been together their entire lives.  He said, “That’s what I’m lookin’ for . . . I’m looking for the grandpa, grandma type of love.”

Post Malone’s new song “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.  It had 76.4 million streams in the U.S. in a week. That’s more than any song since the new streaming calculations began in 2020. It’s Posty’s sixth #1 single on the Hot 100, and Morgan’s second.  And, of course, it’s on top of the country charts, too.  This is Posty’s first #1 country song, and Morgan’s eighth.

Over the weekend, Luke Combs played Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.  And he was joined by some special guests. Niners quarterback Brock Purdy and tight end George Kittle jumped onstage to pound beers with Luke during the song “1, 2 Many”. Actually, from a video someone posted, it looks like Brock didn’t drink anything.  He just had a 12-pack of Bud Light, and he was tossing them to Kittle, who was shotgunning them.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 20 years since Carrie Underwood auditioned for “American Idol”.  She is now considered the most successful contestant the show has ever had. And with the recent season of “Idol” wrapping up, it got Carrie reminiscing about all those years ago, when she was just “Contestant 14887”. She posted it on Instagram with the hashtag “Reflection of the week”.  This is a nod to her residency in Las Vegas called “Reflection”, because she just added some new 2024 dates.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were photographed SMILING for the paparazzi on Sunday.  Ben also flashed his phone to show that she’s saved as “Jennifer Affleck”.
