Country music is loved not only by millions of everyday people, but also by tons of celebrities too.  Whether the celebs grew up in the South or just like jamming out to some country classics, it’s all good, the more the merrier. Last week we learned that The Rock was a big country music fan . . . so here are some more celebrities that love listening to country:

1.  Reese Witherspoon.  She executive produces a country music reality TV show called “My Kind of Country” alongside Kacey Musgraves.

2.  Taylor Sheridan.  The creator of “Yellowstone” is a big country music fan.

3.  Jimmy Butler.  Jimmy is not only a star basketball player for the Miami Heat, but he’s also an aspiring country singer.

4.  Kendall Jenner.  Huge Chris Stapleton fan.  And loves Kacey Musgraves too,

5.  Matthew McConaughey.  He appeared in Trisha Yearwood’s video “Walkaway Joe”.

6.  Stephen King.   Stephen used to have a column for “Entertainment Weekly” where he routinely praised country music artists.

7.  Chris Pratt.  Chris used to listen to Eric Church to get pumped for his role in “Jurassic World”.

Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton are good friends who never miss a chance to INSULT each other in public.  Here’s the latest . . .Blake told “People” magazine that Luke has a ton of ideas, and not all of them are good.  He called him out for a TV show he recently pitched that was dumb. Blake’s game show “Barmageddon” premiered in 2022.  If you’ve never seen it, celebrities go head-to-head and play bar games against each other.  And Luke thought they should do a new version called “Farmageddon”.  Blake didn’t get into what that might entail.  Maybe celebrities compete to see who can bail hay the fastest?  Or is it just bar games on a farm? Either way, Blake said he has no plans to do anything with the idea, and joked that dumb ideas like that seem to fall out of Luke’s mouth a lot. He was actually nice about it and turned it into a compliment though.  He said Luke’s got “a lot of STUPID ideas,” but also a lot of ideas in general. “He’s constantly trying to come up with what’s next.  That’s why he’s been so successful, because he never stops thinking, [and] eventually he hits on something.”

Last year, Thomas Gabriel did a series of acoustic covers at Cash Cabin of his favorites of his grandpa’s . . . the Man in Black, Johnny Cash.  Thomas is Johnny’s eldest grandchild.  He’s 51. Thomas’ cover of “Folsom Prison Blues” sounded eerily similar.  Some of the other songs he did include “Hurt”, “Unchained”, and “Ain’t No Grave”.

Randy Travis’ first new single in over a decade drops tomorrow.  It’s called “Where That Came From”, and he released another preview on Instagram yesterday. He says, “You’ll hear much more about the special team of folks who came together to help make this magical moment in my career possible in the coming week. “In the meantime, just know that when it comes to me singing songs for you, there’s always more where that came from.  Thank you for singing along all these years.”

Sofia Vergara is on the cover of “People” magazine’s Beautiful Issue.

Ellie Kemper is 44.  Erin on “The Office” . . . and star of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”.

Jenna Von Oy is 47.  Six on “Blossom”.

David Beckham is 49.  Beautiful British soccer star married to Posh Spice.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is 52.

Ty Herndon is 62.  Country singer.

Christine Baranski is 72.  Leonard’s mom on “The Big Bang Theory”,

Lou Gramm is 74.  Foreigner’s lead singer

Larry Gatlin is 76.  Leader of country’s Gatlin Brothers.

Bianca Jagger is 79.  Mick Jagger’s ex-wife.  FYI:  Billy Joel’s song “Big Shot” is based on a bad date with her.
