Luke Combs is really excited to be touring again. The “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” kicked off last weekend in Milwaukee and will end in Houston, Texas in August. Luke sat down with “Country Living” to talk about it, and it seems like he’s just as excited to be touring again as we are to see him. He said, “My crew had a well-deserved break and I enjoyed time off with my family, but I love playing shows . . . that’s my favorite part of this whole thing.” Besides his amazing voice, what’s the next thing you think of when Luke comes to mind? Most would say either beer or trucker hats. That’s why it’s cool Miller Lite teamed up with him to make Luke’s own “iconic Miller Lite hat collection.” He said, “I love Miller hats. I have a huge collection of them. Miller came to me about creating my own . . . it was perfect. We [added] elements of my album art and Miller Lite’s design throughout. I love the design that we pulled together.” He also went on to say that, quote, “Miller Lite is my go-to beer for years now, and I love working with them to bring more beer and more music to fans.”
Tomorrow is 4/20, but Luke Bryan says he doesn’t indulge, even if it might look like it. In an interview this week, he said that if you ever see him with red eyes, it’s not weed . . . he’s just been FISHING. He’s oddly allergic to BASS and doesn’t even need to eat them. Just handling them does it. “If I look like I’ve been smoking pot, that’s not true. I’ve been catching bass. If I touch a bass, my eyes will get red, [and] my hands will swell if I have to take the hook out.” As a kid, his parents thought it was just normal allergies. So he’d be in the boat wheezing, and quote, “maybe in need of an EpiPen.” But his dad would just tell him to suck it up. He says he loves fishing, so he still goes. But he makes sure to take an allergy pill first.
Reba McEntire’s boyfriend has a pet name — TATER TOT. Reba and actor Rex Linn met on a movie set in 1991, and were friends for almost 30 years before getting romantically involved. It happened during dinner with a bunch of friends in 2020, when she felt drawn to him like a “magnet.” After dinner they ended up at a wine bar, where Reba ordered tots. Rex told her, quote, “You know I’m famous for giving people their nicknames and that’s your nickname . . . ‘Tater Tot.'” She even started calling him “Sugar Tot”, so now she says, quote, “We’re the tots . . . sugar and tater. We’ve been together ever since.
Jelly Roll teased a new song during his performance at the Grand Ole Opry Tuesday night. He didn’t say what it’s called or when he’ll release it. But some people online think it’s going to be called, “Liar”. His friend Machine Gun Kelly was in the audience for support.
