Jelly Roll said that he, “regrets 98% of his tattoos . . . almost all of them. A lot of the tattoos came from his very troubled upbringing, being in and out of jail. He said they’re “rooted in his life when he was 17” and now, “I’m 40, [and] I’m like, ‘What was I thinking?'” He admitted that most of that tattoos he gets nowadays are either cover-ups or a tour tattoo. He loves the camaraderie of everyone getting a tattoo together, and he said that probably won’t stop. But he has so many bad tattoos, that he wants to fix a lot of them. He recently added a picture of the Nashville skyline to his neck and it was to cover up a tattoo that was supposed to say “Surviving the Struggle.” But they forgot the “t”, so it wound up saying “Surviving the Sruggle.” If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo, Jelly has some amazing advice for you. He said, “Don’t just think about what you’re tattooing on your body, think about WHO is tattooing on your body . . . Spend as much money as you can on the greatest artist you can afford. “If you can’t afford the artist you want right now, start putting money in a coffee can until you can. Do not cheap yourself.”
The lineup for the 2024 CMA Music Fest just dropped and it features HUNDREDS of artists across 10 stages all over Music City. The festival takes place June 6th through June 9th. If there ever was a time to visit Nashville, this might be the weekend. The stages all vary in size and scope, so you can see headliners like Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Lynyrd Skynyrd at Nissan Stadium at night. That’s where the Tennessee Titans play. Or you can go see an up-and-coming artist at one of the smaller, more intimate stages. In addition to watching all your favorite artists sing, you can meet some of them as well. The Music City Center is hosting “Fan Fair X” where there will be plenty of meet-and-greet opportunities with country music’s biggest stars. You can purchase tickets now at CMAFest.com. There are a limited amount of four-day fest passes available, so grab ’em while they’re hot. Otherwise, you can get single night tickets for the mainstage concerts starting at $84.
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a 22-year-old student who’s been missing since last Friday night, after he was asked to leave Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge bar in Nashville. Luke says, quote, “Y’all this is scary. Praying for his safe return.” His bar is working closely with local police to provide security camera footage and any helpful information. There’s also an investigation underway to see if the student was overserved. As of last night, the search is still underway.

He’d get more than a few votes, but it looks like Ernest ISN’T actually running for mayor of Nashville. No one really thought he was. He’s been posting jokey ads for the past week, including one where a bunch of people endorsed him, like Koe Wetzel and John Daly The campaign slogan he’s been using is “Legalize Country Music.” But he posted another ad yesterday and revealed it’s all been a marketing stunt for his next album called “Nashville, Tennessee”, out April 12th. He said he’d be releasing the first FIVE songs from it last night, including one with Jelly Roll called “I Went to College, I Went to Jail”. He’s been teasing it for a while, and teased another one last month called “Why Dallas”.
Meghan Markle is back on Instagram with a surprise new project. Yesterday a new website and Instagram page for what appears to be a lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard. American Riviera Orchard reveals the brand plans to sell tableware, drinkware including decanters, kitchen linens and edible treats such as jellies, jams, marmalade and spreads. The trademark application is also seeking approval for cookbooks.
