Jon Stewart is returning to “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, but only on Monday nights.  The remainder of the week will be handled by a team of correspondents.  He starts February 12th.

The Chiefs play the Ravens for the AFC Championship this weekend.  The game’s in Baltimore, and it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that Taylor Swift is gonna be there. With that in mind, residents of the Brightview White Marsh assisted living facility made a TikTok to let Taylor know what she can do while she’s in their city.  Their suggestions included the Inner Harbor, the local aquarium, and Jimmy’s Famous Seafood. Then, at the end of the video, an employee at the facility tells Taylor that she MUST visit Brightview White Marsh.

Security footage from the Dawg House in Nashville shows a Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agent shoving Chris Young . . . rather than the other way around, as early reports made it seem. To be fair, Chris does put his hands on the guy first.  He puts an arm out to stop him as he’s trying to get by Chris. But his attorney says Chris just wanted to make sure the agents were legit, after they took a photo of his ID . . . because they weren’t dressed in obvious uniforms.  They were apparently hitting bars and conducting routine compliance checks. Young’s attorney says, quote, “In light of the video evidence, Tennessee ABC needs to drop the charges and apologize for the physical, emotional and professional harm done towards my client.”

Dustin Lynch finally got some payback on Luke Bryan, and it was glorious.  If you aren’t familiar, last year at Crash My Playa, Luke Bryan received major blowback for the way he introduced his friend, Dustin Lynch. While introing Dustin, Luke said that, “No one has taken more drugs, more IVs, and no one has passed more STD tests.”   And while he said he was joking, it did not go over well.  So, a few days after that, Luke invited Dustin to insult him at next year’s festival. Fast forward a year, and thankfully Dustin took that invitation very seriously.  He went out and hired “The RoastMaster General” himself, Jeff Ross, to torch Luke.  And Jeff pulled no punches. Some of the best lines were, “Luke has a new single out called ‘Southern and Slow’.  Congrats Luke, you are finally doing something autobiographical.” And my favorite, “And please welcome number 108 on Rolling Stones Top 100 Country Singers of all time . . . Luke Bryan.”  If that doesn’t happen, Young is due in court next month.

In case you hadn’t heard, Elle King had a little bit too much to drink on the Grand Ole Opry Stage the other night.  It was so bad, even Dolly Parton’s sister called her a “spoiled brat.” Elle has still not publicly commented on the incident yet, but today we found out her show on Friday was suddenly postponed.  She was set to perform at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, but the venue announced that it had been rescheduled to September.

Nashville experienced some low temperatures last week, and Jelly Roll was one of (probably) many who fell victim to a frozen pool.  His wife Bunnie Xo filmed his funny attempt to defrost it using a BROOM. He said, quote, “I’ve assessed the situation, and I’m smart enough to know that’s only trouble for me, dude.” He even tried standing on the ice to make it crack and poked fun at himself and said, “That’s a lotta man standing on that ice.”

Netflix will no longer be releasing Halle Berry’s sci-fi movie The Mothership, even though it’s already pretty much completed.  just in need of extensive reshoots to get it over the finish line. Netflix opted not to move forward with those reshoots and shelved the film instead. The sci-fi film starred Berry as a woman who discovers an extraterrestrial object under her home one year after the disappearance of her husband.

Melanie, who performed at Woodstock in 1969 and had hits in the 1970s with “Brand New Key” and “Lay Down (Candles in the Rain),” died Tuesday. She was 76. The cause of death is unknown, though her reps mentioned an “illness” in their own statement.

Alicia Keys is 43

Charlie Bewley is 43.  Demetri in the “Twilight” movies.

Dinah Manoff is 68.  Elaine on “Soap” and Carol on “Empty Nest”.
