One of Will Ferrell’s best friends transitioned to female in 2022, so they took a road trip across the country and filmed it for a documentary.  It’s called “Will & Harper”, and they’re looking for a distributor. 

Billy Joel will release a new song on February 1st called “Turn the Lights Back On”.  It’s his first new track since 2007

Cody Johnson was brought to tears during a show in California over the weekend, when he saw a young girl holding a sign that said, “I survived my bone marrow transplant to see CoJo.  Your biggest fan.” Cody actually stopped the show to step off the stage and give the kid a hug.  After he got back to the microphone he took a few seconds to compose himself and wipe away tears. Then he told the young lady, “You don’t ever give up, you understand?  Don’t you ever give up.  Keep fighting strong.”

How did JellyRoll get his name?  It turns out that Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, said his mom has been calling him that since he was little.  But it wasn’t just his Mom who called him Jelly Roll growing up.  Apparently, a childhood friend named One Arm Clay also decided to name him Jelly Roll. Jelly said, “One Arm Clay was like, ‘We should call you Jelly Roll’ . . .  “I was like, ‘My mama calls me Jelly Roll.'”   And thus ended the greatest artist-naming of all time.

Brooks & Dunn announced the return of their Reboot Tour.  This time they’ll be joined by David Lee Murphy and ERNEST as their opening acts.  Their tour kicks off in May in Florida.  Tickets go on sale Friday. Do you remember the case of Luke Bell?  He mysteriously disappeared in 2022, until authorities found him a week later dead of a fentanyl overdose. Well, a new documentary about his life is now in production called, “Where Ya Been?  The Odyssey and Elegy of Luke Bell”.  There is a Kickstarter if you want to pitch in to help complete the film.

There’s a fashion photobook of Margot Robbie’s “Barbie” looks called “Barbie: The World Tour”.  It comes out March 8th.

Lindsay Lohan’s next romantic comedy for Netflix is called “Our Little Secret”.  Kristen Chenoweth co-stars.

A four-part docuseries on Bon Jovi is coming to Hulu on April 26th.

Mariska Hargitay is 60.  Lieutenant Olivia Benson, the commanding officer on “Law & Order:  Special Victims Unit”. Her mom was ’60s goddess Jayne Mansfield.  Mariska and her brothers were in the backseat of the car during the accident that took their mom’s life in 1967.  None of them suffered any serious injuries.  Mariska was only three years old.

Gail O’Grady is 61.  Donna on “NYPD Blue”.

Princess Caroline of Monaco is 67.  Grace Kelly & Prince Rainier’s daughter.

Richard Finch is 70.  Co-founder of KC & the Sunshine Band.  “Get Down Tonight”, “That’s the Way (I Like It)”, “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty”, “I’m Your Boogie Man”, and “Please Don’t Go”.

Chesley Sullenberger is 73.  He saved 154 lives with an emergency landing on the Hudson River in 2009 when his plane hit a flock of geese.  Tom Hanks played him in the 2016 movie “Sully”.

Richard Dean Anderson is 74.  The original “MacGyver”,

Gil Gerard is 81.  “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”.

Chita Rivera is 91.  She did “West Side Story” and “Chicago”.
