Snoop Dogg will assist NBC in covering this summer’s Olympics in Paris, as part of their primetime coverage. Snoop will explore city landmarks, attend competitions and events, and visit with the athletes and their friends and families. He says, quote, “We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix . . .”Let’s elevate, celebrate, and make these games unforgettable, smoke the competition, and may the best shine like gold.  Peace and Olympic LOVE, ya dig?”The Summer Olympics start July 26th.  You can catch them on NBC and Peacock.

CBS might be guilty of a little false advertising.  Because when Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins performed on the “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” special . . . they weren’t live. When Blake’s segment aired, he was literally just MINUTES from taking the stage for his own New Year’s gig at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. One person Tweeted, quote, “He must have one fast asstour bus!” Morgan Wallen’s performance was also pre-recorded.

Dolly Parton is a national treasure.  Some would say she’s TWO national treasures.  But even if she was rocking an A-CUP, she’d still be one of the best people on Earth. Case in point:  A Utah man named LeGrand Gold was diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer in 2021.  Just before the holidays, he was given six months to live. So he put together a bucket list, and meeting Dolly was on it.  While she couldn’t be there in person, she did call him. And she even serenaded him with a few lines from “I Will Always Love You” . . . and she tossed his nickname, “LG” into it. LeGrand says, quote, “She sang a song, put my name in the song.  I feel like I’m immortal now.  That was really cool. It made me feel good.”

John Michael Montgomery is kicking off his farewell tour this month, which will extend through 2025.  He’s not retiring from music though, just tours.  Quote, “I’ve been fortunate and blessed to be able to do what I love for so many years.  Please join me as I say goodbye to the road life.”

In case you didn’t know, Jon Pardi is on a sobriety journey.  It’s only been about four months, but he’s already seen a significant weight loss.  Jon says he was pre-diabetic and needed to retire from alcohol.  Quote, “Doesn’t mean I can’t come out of retirement.  But for right now, it’s been great.”

Did you know Kate Hudson can sing?  She recently had an intimate show in Aspen to launch the start of a music career.  She performed a cover of Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse”
