Luke Bryan may have bagged himself an elk on a recent hunting trip in Colorado. But he’s also got BEEF. Specifically, with a critic at the “Pioneer Press” in Minnesota. Over the weekend, they published a review of his concert in St. Paul last Saturday, and it was less than glowing. The writer suggested Luke can’t fill seats like he used to, doesn’t have the same energy, and said he “phoned it in.” The whole review is pretty scathing. It starts with the line, “Has Luke Bryan peaked?” . . . and ends with, “It was nice knowing you, Luke.” So, fans have been defending him online. Luke responded by claiming the “Pioneer Press” has NEVER given him a good review . . . which isn’t actually true, apparently. But he also pointed out that the “SOLD OUT CROWD” seemed to have a pretty good time. The site “Saving Country Music” piled on and said Luke should be listening to his critics instead of ripping on them. (Careful!) Luke responded to that with a tweet that said, “You can kiss my [butt] too.” He added that he’s “never phoned anything in” in his life, and joked that if he doesn’t have the same energy, it’s because he’s 47. Quote, “Some nights, my [dang] knees hurt.”
Luke Grimes’ debut EP, “Pain Pills or Pews”, is out today. You may know him as Kayce Dutton on “Yellowstone”, but he’s been doing music for a while. His old band Mitchell’s Folly released an album in 2008. So, can he be an actor AND a country singer? He didn’t know for sure either, until Lainey Wilson did a few episodes of “Yellowstone”. He told “Billboard”, quote, “It was inspiring to watch Lainey step into those acting shoes. “As much as I was afraid people would be, ‘What is this guy doing here?’ I realized no one on our set was, ‘What is she doing here?’ Everyone was, ‘She’s awesome, we’re glad she wants to do this.’ That took some of the fear away.” In a different interview he talked about what inspired the album’s title. He said some of the songs have an honesty that isn’t exactly fun, and that’s okay. “Where I grew up and how I grew up and my dad being a pastor, I just felt like the religious aspect and my upbringing needed to be tied into this album somehow because it’s such a big part of especially this first outing.”
Jelly Roll has said that his “main objective” in life is helping people who are struggling, just like he once was. And he’s not backing off that. Jelly recently finished his first arena tour, and while a LOT of fans saw him on stage . . . he’s sharing some of the stuff he did behind the scenes. In a social media post, he says that during the tour he visited over 10 jails and juvenile detention centers . . . plus multiple rehabs and homeless shelters. He says he just did it to, quote, “spread the love.” He also says they teamed up with Live Nation to give a dollar per ticket sold to charity, and he raised another 590,000 for at-risk youth. And if that’s not enough, Jelly says that he’s already “focusing on creating the biggest toy drive in Nashville history.” He says he’ll share more details on that soon. And he adds, quote, “My gratitude is at all-time high.”

Adam Sandler was performing at SAP Center in San Jose Wednesday night when he brought everything to a screeching halt — we’re told Adam heard an audience member yelling “medical emergency” and stopped the whole thing to make sure the fan got assistance. Not long after, the lights came up and everyone waited until paramedics were able to get to the fan in distress … Adam helped guide the medics to the person in need. Sources connected to the show tell TMZ … the performance was on hold for about 10 minutes, and the man who had the emergency was believed to have been dehydrated while in the crowd but is doing fine.
