The demand was so huge for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”, that the decision was made to hold preview screenings last night . . . a day before the movie was scheduled to open.  And it might have been a mistake. Theaters were NOT happy with having to prepare for potential mass demand with so little advance notice. The irony is, the demand probably wasn’t all that great.  Due to the last-minute call for the advance screenings, theaters were reporting weak crowds. A theater in Burbank said some of its Thursday shows had sold FOUR TO 12 SEATS.  Taylor wants people standing, singing, and having a ball at these shows like they’re at an actual concert. But that vibe probably won’t be achieved with four people in the room.  It sounds like last night’s take might be a little weak, especially for a movie that’s already sold more than $100 million in advance tickets for the weekend. Filming took place in August during three shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California during her record-breaking Eras Tour. Taylor’s concert film is rated PG-13.

Lots of football this weekend with the NFL and college seasons in full swing.  Here’s something if you’re planning to tailgate:  “Taste of Country” ranked the top country songs you MUST have on your tailgating playlist . . .here are some:

1.  “Parking Lot Party” by Lee Brice.  (2013)

2.  “Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith  (2011)

Reba McEntire was on “Watch What Happens Live” Wednesday, and a couple of girls asked if she’d ever get married again . . . and if so, would it be to her boyfriend Rex Linn. They even referred to him as “Sugar Tot” which is Reba’s nickname for the guy.  Reba said, “That would be up to him.  I’ve been married twice.  He’s never been married.  So, if he wants to, that’s totally up to him.”  If that isn’t putting the ball someone’s court, nothing is.  Especially because Rex was in the audience, sitting in the front row. She shared this, “You gotta find someone that makes you laugh.  [It’s] the most important thing, and I found that.”  Then she pointed at Rex, and the camera showed him blowing her a kiss.

I Luke Bryan brought his sons Bo and Tate, and nephew Til along on a hunting trip . . . and shared photos of the massive elk they bagged. He wrote, “Nothing like a trip out to Colorado with my boys to close out elk season.”

Miranda Lambert participated in her first horse show since 2019.  She rode her horse Gibson, which you might’ve seen in her video for “Settling Down”. She posted a series of photos from the Grady County fairgrounds in Oklahoma.  She didn’t reveal the results, but she earned a few ribbons.

Megan Moroney made her late night TV debut Wednesday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.  She performed “Tennessee Orange”.

Lainey Wilson will be hosting the third annual “Opry NextStage Live”.  It’ll feature performances from the NextStage Class of 2023 . . . and it’s going down December 6th at the Grand Ole Opry.

Clint Black was pretty tight with Jimmy Buffett, who passed away last month.  He shared a few stories about their relationship in an interview with “People”.

Eddie Murphy has a new Christmas movie coming to Prime, called “Candy Cane Lane”.  The trailer dropped yesterday.

Adam Sandler, Cecily Strong, Jason Alexander, Rob Schneider are some of the people who lent their voices to the animated comedy “Leo”.  It hits Netflix on November 21st.
