That should NOT be a big deal, but it is. “There’s a pressure in country music of, ‘Why isn’t he married? What’s wrong with him? Why didn’t he have kids?’ A lot of artists I came up with have found their person and are having kids, and the fans are super invested in that.” He says that pressure has been eased thanks to all the fans he’s been meeting who are in the same situation. He’s learned that it’s okay to be single . . . and to be absolutely sure before deciding to spend the rest of your life with someone. “That’s where I am right now. It’s okay to NOT know what’s next and be a little bit scared about it.”
Jimmie Allen’s estranged wife Alexis gave birth to their third child, a boy named Cohen Ace James, on September 27th. She shared photos yesterday, but didn’t mention Jimmie. Her Instagram still has Allen as her last name. Jimmie hasn’t said anything or released a statement, although news sources have reached out to his reps but they had no comment.
