Ed Sheeran paused a show in Kansas City on Saturday to surprise a couple of fans with a GENDER REVEAL for their upcoming baby. They handed him an envelope, and he opened it, and said . . . “It’s a girl!”
“Chris Lane was saved by a cup of beer!” Here’s the story. He was enjoying a beverage while performing recently in Michigan . . . when he tripped over a monitor and landed chin-first into his Red Solo cup full of beer. The cup prevented Chris’s chin from hitting the stage floor. Yes, there was beer everywhere, which is also sad . . . but more importantly, he was okay and even joked about it. He posted a video of it online. It starts with a real-time view of the fall, and then it switches to slo-mo where you can really see him wearing the beer. He captioned it, “Michigan, I was fallin’ for you. Thanks for the good times.”
A study looked at the artists that give fans the biggest boost in confidence when it comes to body image. And Carrie ranked first among country stars. Researchers polled over 1,000 fans and looked at more than 2,500 Spotify playlists that included search terms like “confidence” and “body positivity.” According to the results, the top five artists who make us feel more confident in our own skin are: Carrie Underwood . . . Shania Twain . . . Luke Combs . . . Miranda Lambert . . . and Toby Keith.
Luke Bryan has been “battling a head cold” and it got so bad he had to miss two shows over the weekend. He postponed Friday’s concert in Salt Lake City . . . but was able to reschedule it for August 31st. He was really bummed about canceling his show last night at the Watershed Festival in Boise, Idaho. Obviously, you can’t re-schedule a festival. Lainey Wilson was able to take his place for that one.
Carrie Underwood opened for Guns N’ Roses on Saturday in Canada. Fans were treated to a mix of her hits, plus covers of some iconic rock songs. Several videos of her performance have been making rounds. She did a great cover of the Heart classic “Alone”. (Here’s the video.) And she totally let loose on Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades”.

Zach Bryan’s new album is supposed to come out soon, and he’s already donating proceeds. Here’s what he shared yesterday on social media. “Every cent of profit made from the song ‘El Dorado’ on the new album will be going to [Christian] McCaffrey’s 22 and Troops foundation.”
