It’s only a matter of time before Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman perform “Fast Car” together. It’s really up to her because Luke has said several times that he really wants it to happen. He was asked about it again in a recent interview. He said, quote, “Wherever she would want to do it, I would do it under a bridge if she wanted me to. I think it would be so cool to do it anywhere. “[I’d] love to perform it on the halftime at the Super Bowl or on the moon or something.” Yes, he loves the song, but he’s also a fan, and would love to hang out with Tracy. He adds, quote, “Being able to sit down and talk to her for a little bit and hear some of her stories and play some music with her I think would be super cool.”
Zach Bryan and Joe Rogan are catching heat after they both drank Bud Light on Joe’s podcast this week. Zach’s in the episode that came out on Tuesday. At one point, Joe brought out two Bud Lights, and they cheers’d, Joe’s been critical of Dylan Mulvaney before, and he’s gone off about transgender athletes. But he called the Bud Light boycott itself “silly.” He suggested people can be angry at the executive who pushed for the Mulvaney thing, but that boycotting the whole brand is dumb. “One person made a really stupid decision, and now everybody’s decided that Bud Light is the enemy.”
Miranda Lambert shared photos of her summer so far, and of course they include her husband Brendan McLoughlin . . . SHIRTLESS. He’s seen smiling and on a rooftop. Other photos include her dogs, Brendan wakeboarding, and camping.
Carrie Underwood is opening a few shows for Guns N’ Roses, and she just posted a little teaser on social media. She says, “Getting ready for the jungle, baby!” Two of the three shows are in Canada . . . but she’ll be at the Guns N’ Roses gig in Nashville on August 26th.
Sam Hunt shared a cute video of himself hanging with his baby daughter Lucy. They’re on the back deck of a house “discovering” a lizard. Then the song “Found” by Jacob Banks starts playing, and the clip switches to several scenes of Sam in concert.
